Guess I'll Be The One (Before You Exit & Toby McDonough Fanfic)

Eli's POV

We drove back to the McDonough household. Once we got there, Toby and I walked into the house holding hands. So were Mali and Riley. Once we entered the house I saw Connor lying on the couch watch TV. He then looked up and noticed us.

"There you guys are! You left me alone for the whole day. I was so bored!" Connor whined.

"Sorry, me and Toby went out on a beach date," I explained, I then looked at Mali and Riley for them to say something.

"And what's your excuse Riley? And why are you holding hands with Mali? Did something happen when you two mysteriously left without me?" Connor said pouting.

Then Riley started to explain the whole story about him and Mali all over again.

"Oh. Well I am happy for you guys. I'm going to go upstairs and either sleep or work on a new song," Connor said. As he said that he sounded a little depressed.

"Hey Toby, I'm going to go check on Connor. He seemed a little sad earlier," I said.

"Alright, just come back down when you are done." I nodded and pecked him on the lips before walking upstairs to Connor's room.

Once I got to Connor's door I knocked on the door and barely heard him say, "come in."

I walked in and closed the door. Connor was lying in his bed looking at the ceiling. "Hey, are you okay? You seemed pretty depressed back there."

I sat next to him on the bed and he sat up. "I don't know... I guess since you an Mali are dating my brothers. You guys will leave me out like a third wheel and forget about me. I know that it's stupid, but what if it does happen?"

"Connor, it's not a stupid reason okay? And also, I could never forget about you. You are like my older brother that I have always wished for. And now I got you. Which is better way than I could ever wish for. Sure me and Mali will be around Toby and Riley more, but we would never treat you like a third wheel or forget about you. You are one of the most important people in my life. Without you I would have the worst life ever. Never forget that," I said comforting him.

"Thanks El," He replied and I hugged him.

"Alright come on we are watching TV downstairs and you are watching with us, because you are not going to be a third wheel." I said as I jumped off the bed and pulled him up with me, but that caused him to fall on top of me. "Ugh you are so heavy! You need to lay off Starbucks or something you are way too fat."

"Laying off Starbucks, pft... Like that's going to happen."

I rolled my eyes and then someone opened the door. It was Toby. "What's going on here?" He asked.

"Nothing much. Except Connor here is being a fatty and squishing me into the floor. Toby help!" He just smiled and laughed faintly at me as he shook his head. He then walked out the door, closing it on his way out. "THANKS FOR THE HELP! YOU ARE A WONDERFUL BOYFRIEND!" I yelled sarcastically.

"GLAD I CAN HELP!" He sarcastically yelled back.

I rolled my eyes and then pushed Connor off of me. I walked downstairs and ignored Toby, as I was pretending to be mad at him for not helping me. We were currently watching Maze Runner and Toby would constantly try to pull me into his lap but I would get off of him and move even further. Then Connor came downstairs and sat on the couch and I decided to sit with him and cuddle with him.

And as I did that, I could see Toby clenching and unclenching his fists. As he was trying to calm himself down, but fails when he sees me and Connor. He then stormed out of the room and went upstairs. I got up and chased after him.

He went into his room and I followed. Once I entered the room I saw Toby throwing pillows all over the room. There was feathers everywhere, pictures fell to the ground, and him muttering 'My brothers better for her,' 'She never liked me anyways.' I walked over to him and hugged him from the back and held his arms down. I turned him around and he was all red and puffy with tears stains on his cheeks.

"Go back to Connor, Eliana. It's clear you like him better than me," he spatted.

"Toby, I will not go back to Connor because one, I can't leave you like this. Two, I was only messing with you in the first place. And three, because I love you. I love Connor as if he is my older brother. And I am in love with you. Don't ever doubt that." Toby just nodded and I stood on my toes so I can kiss him.

We pulled apart and he whispered to me, "And I'm in love with a girl with a Heart Like California." I started to laugh at his song reference. "But seriously, I am in love with you Eliana Avila. AKA Katelyn  Santana."

I lightly smacked him for saying my old name. "Quit it."

"Love ya!" He smiled as I tip toed to kiss him again.

Hey guys! So I'm running out of ideas for this story and I might finish it in a few chapters.

On the other hand... Who's excited for Before You Exit's trip to Europe?! I'm glad they are touring again but, I kinda wish they would come to South Cal more because I live there (>_<").
