After Derek had explained the whole situation to me I decided to forgive him. It was Thursday and I just finished memorizing all of the steps to the dances. Time for the perfecting stage. As rehearsal progressed, I felt myself feeling faint. As Derek lifted me, per choreography, I fell out of his arms and hit the ground with a loud thump.
"Beth! Beth!" I heard Derek say. I was still awake, holding back my tears.
"Mark! Val! Get in here!" I heard Derek yell very loudly so they could hear him. About 10 seconds later Mark and Val walked into the room.
"Hey ma- Oh my gosh! Beth!" I heard Mark say. They rushed over to me and lifted me up laying me on the hallway couch.
"Do you need to go to the hospital?" Derek asked.
"No, I-I don't think it's that bad." I say as hot tears stroll down my face.
Before I know it, me, Derek, Mark, Val, Sadie, Janel, Alfonso, and Witney are all crowded in the hallway.
"Derek, I'm good to start rehearsing again." I say as I sit up.
"Are you sure?" Derek asks with a look of worry in his eyes.
"Yea. I'll be fine." I say as Derek helps me stand up.
