Say You Love Me

Chapter 31- Derek's POV

I wake up to Beth sleeping in my arms. I carefully remove my arms trying not to wake her up. I peek into Mark's room and see him still sleeping. I wonder if he saw us when he came home last night because we fell asleep on the couch.

I decide to make Beth a nice breakfast before rehearsal. It was currently Saturday. As I flipped the eggs I hear Mark come out of his room.

"Shhh," I say as I point to Beth, still sleeping. Mark walks up to me.

"She's so cute," he says quietly laughing.

"Hey man, back off. She's mine." I say also quietly chuckling.

As I finish the breakfast, I set up the table. The breakfast included- eggs, bacon, and toast. Eventually, I hear Beth stir awake.

"Morning babe," I smile at her.

"Morning," She says as she rubs her eyes. I lead her to the kitchen and her eyes widen.

"D, you shouldn't have." She says looking at me.

"Yes, I should have." I say pulling out a chair for her. As she sits, her phone beeps.

"Who is it?" I ask nonchalantly as I scoop some eggs onto my plate.

"Just Sadie," she says smiling as she puts her phone down.

"I didn't know you were such a good cook!" Beth says as she goes for her 2nd helping of eggs.

"Why thank you, m'lady." I say bowing as I stand up and grab her plate.

"That was amazing, D. Thank you for this." She says as she stands up and kisses my cheek. I put our plates in the sink as I join Beth on the couch.

"Oh, shoot! I just remembered we have rehearsal." I say as I stand up.

"Oh yeah!" Beth says as she runs up the steps to get changed.

As we reach the studio, Beth gets a call from Sadie.

B- "Hey Sadie."
S- "Hey Beth, where are you? I thought you had rehearsal at 9:30?"
B- "We got a little sidetracked."
S- "Gotcha. Oh, and um, Witney and I want to go shopping tonight. You in?"
B- "Definitely. I'll meet you after rehearsal."
-End of call-

"Aw, I don't get to spend time with my beautiful Bethany tonight?" I say jokingly pouting. She rolls her eyes and giggles. As we walk inside the studio, we get straight to work. You know, it's very hard to concentrate when your dancing with such a beautiful girl.
