Much Love - Brittany x
**Louis’ POV**
I watched silently as Kim stepped in front of Christy when Eleanor called her a tramp. I thought Kim was about to deck Eleanor out but Christy stepped in, whispering something in her ear and Kim backed down. Eleanor stormed passed them and grabbed my arm pulling be along as she walked. Looking back I saw Christy give me a concerned look but smiled small as I mouthed sorry.
“Where are we going Eleanor?” I asked as she pulled me down the sidewalk.
“Back to your flat of course, so we can be alone without some bint interrupting us!” she replied giving my arm another tug.
“Some bint?! You know absolutely nothing about her!” I exclaimed as I was pulled into my flat building.
“And you do right? She was all over you. I’m your girlfriend and you are not hanging around her.” Eleanor snapped stepping into the elevator.
“You are not going to control who my friends are. And she was not all over me, it was a hug. Also, I know more about her than you, we spent 7 hours on a plane together, 4 of which were spent talking!” I replied, glaring at her while removing my arm from her clutches.
“Louis! Don’t be like that sweetie… I’m just trying to look out for you.” She whined giving me sad eyes.
It never ceased to amaze me how she could go from being a stuck up bitch to acting like a wounded puppy in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, I always fell for it. It was just who I was… I didn’t like seeing anybody upset.
Sighing I pulled her into a hug just before the elevator stopped. “I know you are Ele.” I said calmly then released her and walked out into the hall leading to my door.
“Look, why don’t you just go back to your house. I’ve got things to do before the meeting the guys and I have with Simon.” I said turning back to face her.
“Oh. Well okay Lou, I’ll see you soon baby.” Eleanor replied reaching up to kiss me.
As soon as her lips touched mine I wanted to pull away. It just didn’t feel right anymore. The love was gone. Why didn’t I break up with her then? Because she was Harry’s friend and I didn’t want to make him mad at me for breaking up with her.
Pushing aside the mental battle raging inside my head I kissed her back and then pulled away. Before I could turn and walk away she wrapped her arms around my waist and rested her head on my chest. Knowing I couldn’t just pull away I returned the gesture and rested my chin on her head.
“I love you Louis.” Eleanor stated tightening her grip.
Oh… not this… “I love you too.” I muttered not knowing a way to get out of the situation.
After she finally let go and left I entered my flat, dropping my keys on the table I plopped down on the sofa and stared at the blank screen of the TV. How did my love life get so messed up? I was dating a girl I didn’t love anymore and I was constantly thinking about a girl I had just met 9 hours ago.
With that thought I smiled. Christy had been caring enough to follow me out of the restaurant after seeing me leave upset. She also didn’t listen when I told her I was fine, she had known that something was wrong. Frowning I thought back to when we were sitting on the bench. When I had said that Eleanor called me a bad boyfriend something happened to Christy’s eyes… they had seemed to lose some of their sparkle.
