Later that night when Julie and Jay arrived at the dance, which had already started, the latter let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding.

"You alright?" Julie asked as they walked in.

"Yeah, just nervous," Jay admitted. "I mean, we had only a few hours to put this song together, most of which was just us two since they're off plotting revenge against Trevor. Not to mention we're performing in front of the entire school and they might not even show."

"Hey," Julie said gently. "They'll show up. They know how important this is to us. They know how important this band is to us, because it's important to them too."

"You're right," Jay sighed. "Just gotta believe in them."

"That's the spirit," Julie smiled, grabbing Jay's hand. "Now let's go, Flynn's waiting for us."

Flynn had welcomed them backstage, immediately complimented their appearances.

"Definitely got a theme going on," she said as she hugged Julie.

"It's my mom's" Julie said, showing off her outfit. "I finally went through all her stuff."

"Yeah, Rose had some great clothing choices," Jay said. "I had to steal from Ray's closet though. Hopefully he won't mind."

"Dad will be fine, he loves you," Julie said.

"Well I'm sure she would have loved that you're wearing that," Flynn said genuinely. "And that you two are doing this together."

Julie and Jay shared a look before turning back to Flynn.

"Are the guys here?" she asked, flipping her hair.

"No, but they will be," Julie said.

"Yeah, they know how important this is to us," Jay said, repeating Julie's words from earlier. Now, whether he believed them or not, that was a different question.

Elsewhere, in the Hollywood Ghost Club, Willie was explaining the Hollywood Ghost Club and its facilities to the boys before he had disappeared to check in on something. The three of them looked out to the rest of the club, where the guests were all partying, eating, and drinking. Something about this place gave Luke an eerie vibe, like there was something sinister about the club. But he didn't properly process any of that, right now his mind was fixated on getting payback at Bobby.

And Jay. He was thinking a lot about Jay too.

But Bobby first.

"We're all good," Willie said, poofing in next to Luke.

"Cool," Luke said, standing straight. "But we've got a gig at nine that we can't miss, so we've got, like, an hour at most."

"Oh yeah," Willie said. "No worries."

Luke and the others followed Willie down to their table, surprised that everyone at the club other than the staff were Lifers. They were astounded by the large performance stage.

Lucky they got a front row seat.

"Okay, so who's gonna make us visible so we can confront our old bandmate?" Luke asked, returning to the reason they were even here in the first place.

Find the person that could help them get revenge, get to the school to perform with Jay and Julie, and then hopefully talk with Jay and apologize for the situation earlier that day.

Should be easy.

"Oh, no no, none of these Lifers have the power to do that," Willie said, smiling as the lights dimmed. "But here comes the ghost that does."

Needless to say, that ghost that Willie was talking about definitely had some crazy powers. Caleb Covington, as the announcement had referred to him, knew how to put on a show. By the end of the performance, everyone was completely entranced by the dancers and the music. Reggie was completely gone to the point where Luke had to remind him to stand and applaud. The magic he did on that stage made perfect sense when Reggie had brought up the fact that he had been a magician as a Lifer.

"Alright, but he can just, like, wave his arms and make ghosts visible to Lifers?" Luke asked impatiently. They were on a time crunch, and as amazing as the show was, Luke had a one track mind and a whole list of things to do.

"Told you, the guy's got skills," Willie said pridefully.

"So where'd he go?" Reggie asked, looking around. "Oh wow found him."

Luke startled and got off the table as Caleb Covington greeted them. Luke was hoping to make a quick deal and leave immediately, but Caleb hadn't given them a chance to properly discuss it.

"I love that dude," Reggie said as Caleb walked away. "Please tell me this party is never going to end."

"Dude," Luke said, slapping Reggie's arm. "We still have that gig."

"Yeah, but that's like an hour from now," Reggie brushed off. "We'll be fine."
