Chase Runs Away

Plan for a date? Hangout?

Skye and Everest continue to watch TV while Skye contemplates how she's gonna pull this Date off.

"I don't have all day. I only really have this afternoon and early evening, but how can I even get this together?" The cockapoo thinks to herself.

Skye realized she would have to get Chase to a place alone to even bring up the idea while also not giving away the true motives for the hangout.

"This is not gonna be easy" Skye thinks.

Skye's thoughts were cut off by the sound of a certain Shepherd.

"Hey Skye?" Chase's voice called.

Skye turned and noticed the approaching Shepherd.

"Oh...hey Chase. What's up?" Skye asks nervously. She couldn't help but recall their earlier moment.

Chase's nervousness was starting to build up as well. He had the same thought on his mind. It didn't help that he might possibly still have a crush on this pup.

"I uh was just wondering if we could talk" Chase says as he makes his voice more clear.

Skye perks up. She realized this could be her opportunity.

"Sure Chase" The cockapoo replies as her nervous grin was replaced with a face of happiness.

Chase seemed a bit confused at the sudden mood change, but enjoyed it.

"Great let's talk somewhere a bit more private" The Shepherd replied as the two made their way to the other side of the room.

Everest decided she might as well talk to the other pups about the current situation. She noticed the others appeared to be chatting about something already. She made her way to them.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Everest asks.

"Hey Everest, we're just talking about Chase making big moves" Rocky says.

"Big moves? What's he doing?" Everest asks in confusion.

"Well, we were talking to him about what happened earlier and we learned that he might have some feelings for Skye" Marshall starts.

Everest's eyes lit up.

"Oh is that so?" She questioned.

"Yeah, so we decided that he should spend time with her to decide if he truly liked her. Something like a date." Rocky explained.

Everest's mouth widened in awe. The others were confused by her dumbfounded look.

"Uh, Evewest? What's up?" Zuma asked.

"You guys! I just had the exact same conversation with Skye! And she's trying to get a date together with Chase too!" Everest says with excitement.

Everest's look of amazement had spread to the other pups. Now everyone was surprised and full of excitement.

"That's crazy!" Rubble says.

"Yeah, I can't believe how that all worked out. I mean I expected us to all talk about what happened this morning, but we all planned out a date for those two too?" Marshall questions in amazement.
