The sun shone through the bare trees as Shade awoke. He got up slowly not to wake the pups and picked up his mate by the scruff and dragged he to a tree and dug a hole there. By the time he was done the pups were awake looking around the circle. When they saw him they all run up and jumped on him. Ah! He said as they found their mark on his back. When he manged to shake them off he got up and picked up Ocean and started walking. As the other two pups followed he thought " I can't take care of them my self so I guess I must give them to the tribe I left so long ago". He sighed with the burden he had to do. By the time he got to the forest it was already noon. He sat down and put Ocean on the floor who shoke himself then went to Smokey and Willow. While they sat down and rested he decided to go hunting.
As he walked a few minutes later he saw a brown pelt of a mouse and he got into a hunters crouch and pounced and he managed to hit his targert, before it could squel he finished it's life off with a quick bite. Before he could pick it up he heard a scream from Willow and he raced off. Running through the forest quicker than he ever done before, he jumped out of the bushes to see a fox on top of Ocean. Leave them alone you scum he howled as he raced foward and jumped one the beast and took a bite on its back. As it stumbled he clawed its leg and raced underneth it then slashed at its face. But this time it looked at Shade and hissed before it charged at him. It manadged to hit him on the back and stunned him then slam him onto a tree, But Shade howled and jumped down onto the foxes back and bite it's neck to end the foxes life. As it fell he raced over to the terrafied pups and saw that Ocean was ok and so was the others. He sigh out of relief then he suddenly felt dizzy some reason and then he saw all the blood, his blood aroung him and before everything went black he heared the voice of one wolf he had not seen in many years. Oak he said as he opened his eyes but all he saw was the brown fur and Oak bent down and said I will take care of your pups. As he smiled sadly at Shade. Thank ...... Y you Oak and with that his vision went black and he heared Ariel saying welcome.
