Chapter 9: The Stay in the Healers Den

Oceans POV

I woke up felling dull pain in my head and back paw. But when I looked at Smokey I knew he would be feeling a hundred times worse. I sat up slowly feeling my head throb in protest but I ignored it. Looking around I saw the stash of herbs that Oak mentioned. There was herbs the color of blue, yellow, orange, white and many more plus some were liquids as well as solids. I heard a groan as Smokey woke up. I see him opening his sky blue eyes and he groaned again. He slowly got up and he looked at me and asked how long do you think we will be here. I don't know maybe a few days or maybe a week or so. Probably was all he said. As he stared around the den. How are you feeling I asked knowing he fought the leader yesterday. I'll be fine Smokey said to answer the question. Good said Shard making the two siblings awake jump. you all will be able to leave by next week. Then as soon as she answered that Willow woke up and slowly got up like we both did. How are you feeling asked Smokey when Shard left to leave us for a little bit to talk. I'm fine just a little battered, I'm more worried for you really you fought the leader! I'm fine as well just a little beaten was all he said again just to assure us both. He then smiled I wonder if our father fought of warriors that big he laughed. Ya said Willow joining in the all powerful father beating Bear she joked. I soon joined into laughter and soon We all fell into a comfortable sleep.

Moonlight POV

I smiled at hearing them laugh I know they will be ok but I just had that nagging worrie once I fought Fang off and seeing Bear take on Smokey who had little training. But when I saw the fighting moves he did I was impressed and I had to get into the fray and did not see him again till the end of the battle. I saw he was hurt more then I thought at first but I was still impressed as I leaded them to the healers den. They all collapsed in the nest provided and I went to ask Shard to take care of them. While Shard taking care of Smokey I asked him has he done battle training yet and he said no. I was surprised but he told me that his father taught him and his siblings some things. I could'nt help but smile at that. And I asked if he knew that Bear was the leader he nodded and told me how he knew I was impressed and I decided that he had enough questions and licked him on the head and felt pride glowing in my chest and left him to rest.
