The three days had passed. I'm able to have my temporary stay at his house. And I'm very thankful how thoughtful he is to me. Maybe it's because he sees his daughter, dead daughter on me. But no matter what, he's such a good man and... I must say, a good father. I wonder why Trisha didn't see that at all. She's just so lucky, she still have her father to look after her and rescue her from not ideal situations.

"Are you sure, you're okay here?" he asked when he open the car door for me.

I took all my things out. Actually, it's just like one bag I'm bringing. I put all my things in on bag so I'm able to bring it all the time. Especially now, I'll be back at my normal life again. Actually, not normal at all. But unfair.

"Hmm? Yeah." I told him as I put my bag on my back. I came to face him. He frowns while I put a wide smile and offered him a shake hand. "Thank you, sir, for letting me stay. Sorry, though, I had to be a problem for those three days."

"Riley..." he whispered my name. But I didn't let him finish.

"It is really nice meeting you, sir." I kept shaking his hands.

"I hope one day, we can still meet." he forcefully smile. Finally, we ended from a five-minute shaking hands session. "Thanks for sharing, Riley. I appreciated your trust."

He already stepped on the gas when he opened the window glass. "Have a safe trip!" I waved at him. And though, he haven't pulled the car yet, I already turn my back at him. And started finding my place... permanent place, this time.

I've been walking for the last two hours. Hmm? Still haven't find a place. I just hope I can find one before the dark came.

"Hi, young lady!" someone sat beside me. I sat for a while and sip some water at the same time.

I just looked at him, furiously. I didn't know the man. And I know that kind of face. It is not to be trusted. He looks like a gang leader. A drug addict. Or worst, a terrorist.

"Are you lost? I can help you." he queries once more.

As a reply, I shook my head, totally ignoring him. "No, thank you. I can handle myself." then I took another sip of water. it's my third glass, so far.

I hugged my bag really tight. I won't let another sranger took something on me, again. I already have nothing else but this and myself.

"I can offer you a job if you want." he suddenly stated even if I don't welcome this conversation at all.

"I think you have the qualities. You're beautiful, young, fresh, something really new." He enumerated those words while maliciously lookin' at me.

I really need to get out from here! This man's really frightening!

"Where are you going? I thought you'd like a job?" he asked, and even had the guts to pick my arm.

I grabbed my arm back and looked at him bad. "I don't ask for a job, sir. And I'm not looking for that whatever job. And don't ever touch me again."

He put on a grin smile. I turned my back and continued on walking.

I am done asking for another rental. It's no hope in there. There are a lot of bedspacers.

I sat on the side of the road. I took a deep breath. Until I saw a flash of shadow seems to be hiding behind a big tree that is just few inches upon me.

I just shake my head as a signification that I'm just hallucinating and it's all because I haven't had my lunch yet. It's almost past one and I inclusively forgot to eat - due to desperate calls of home. I really need to find a place for tonight.

After taking a little rest, I take another walk to find, this time, of somewhere to eat. I don't know why but I really think there is someone following me.

Slowly, I made small and slow steps. I heard the sound of shoes, going on the same direction as I am. And he's comfortable while walking. He's too confident about his walk. This time, I am really sure. Somebody is behind me. Somebody is following me. And I hate what I thought.

I glance additional paces on my walk. But he just did too. Yes, he. That man who just sat beside me and trying to ask me to work as a prostitute. He is following me!

I finally ordered myself to run but it's too late. He's already in front of me, wearing that grin smile, that malicious look. "Where do you think are you going?"

My heart is pounding so fast and I can't stable my breathing. I inhaled and exhaled before I answered him. "To my new home." then I directed myself walking ahead. Not minding about the possible idea that I am at risk.

"Then I know, where you must be." he pulled my arm once again and released a smirk. Slowly, he's emotion got changed. "Let's go!"

"No! No! I am not going with you! Go find someone who wants your job! Not me! Let me go!" I hysterically screamed, but no one is here to save me. No mark of any person who will rescue me then.

"Shut your mouth!"

"Let me go! HELP! HELP! Aaahhhhhhhhh!"

He kept pulling me. My arm is imprisoned with those dirty hands. My tears automatically fell. And I had once closed my eyes when the light of a car is coming near us.

He finally released my arm. The car stopped ahead of us.

"Riley! Get in the car!"

What is he doing here? I thought he's already gone for Manila?

"Riley! Don't you just stand there! Get in the car! NOW!"
