"This will be your room..." she showed me a room which reflects the color of the sky. It's more heavenly to see the walls painted in whole white. There's no really decorations at all within the entire room. It's actually just plain, too boring to look at. If it weren't for the yellow light bulb, there would never be a total signification that this is a good room to stay at.

There is also one bed, beside will be the lampshade. There's one dresser and a big window where the scenery from outside may be witnessed. Over all, it's a peaceful room.

She just stood infront of the door as I travel the room. I sat on the bed when I finished examining the whole.

"Is it okay if you stay here?" she asked as she sat beside me. She holds my hand but I ignored it. I guess, she's able to feel it that's why she let her hands be still on her lap instead. "We can redecorate it, if you like." she remained cheerful.

"No need. I'll just have this night, I'll be going when the morning came in." I answered her rudely. I hate to think that she's only this very accomodating, because she sees her dead daughter on me.

"O-okay." she helps herself to stand up as she slowly walk through the door. "Call us if there's something you need."

I no longer say anything. I just nodded and I felt my tears raging on my cheeks once again as she closes the door.

Why can't I just be happy that will last longer? Not in any way that after five minutes, there's something bad that will ruin everything!

The morning came and the rays of the sun is slowly pacing on the right side of the bed, ignoring the curtain that is helping the room from too much exposed sunlight. I grabbed a few stretch on my arms before I decided to sit for a while.

This will be a very good morning. I told myself. Well, hopefully...

"Good morning Riley!" Justin greeted with all full smile as he passes in front of me and wandered the stairs. His room is just beside the room that I had slept in last night.

I inhaled deeply and exhaled before I started to walk and slowly paced the staircase. As I reached for the last step, I took another deep breath. You can do this, Riley. You'll be out here after an hour or so. Just be nice!

Before I could reach the kitchen, I can already hear the busy people exchanging voices on the dining area.

"Honey, where's my coffee?" the man ordered

"Mom, can I have a bowl of cereal with fruits on it?" Justin called

"Here's the coffee. No sugar and a teaspoon of cream." she reaches to his side as she glanced a sweet smile. "And here is the cereal, bananas are present, which is your favorite."

"Thanks, mom." he mouthed her and started conquering the bowl.

"Riley, what are you doing? Come and join us." Her voice woke me up. That's just when I thought, I'm already standing blankly infront of a happy family taking in their breakfast. She pulled me on the vacant seat. "What do you want?" she further asked.

I cleared my throat and finally speak. "I'd like milk and maybe an omelet."

She once again smile. "Milk and omelet. Very much breakfast friendly, huh?" I watched her as she went through the kitchen.

"How's your sleep?" Sir Magno asked while still looking at the newspaper he's reading when I saw him this morning.

"Good." I curtly answered.

"Here's your omelet and your milk." she came, still wearing a heart-warming smile.

"Thank you." I whispered and as she heard of it, she then whispered me a 'you're welcome'.

The breakfast passed about an hour. Sir Magno and Justin waved at Mrs. Madeline a goodbye as they both entered the car. Right after a minute, they're already gone.

I directed myself on the dining table and clear it. I heard the soft sound of the door as it closes and few footsteps coming near me.

Short silence filled in before she broke it. "Where are you planning to go, Riley?" she released some question as she sat on one of the chairs.

"I don't know yet." I just answered plainly and occupied myself touching the wooden table with a rug.

"Do you want me to join you?" I looked at her, questioning. "I can help you find your place."

I smiled at her. Be nice, Riley. "Thank you, but if you have something to get busy of, I can do it on my own."

I heard the sound of her breath. She stood up and went to me. She once again hold my hand and before I could move it away, she already speaks of something. "I'll be happy to help, Riley. Besides, I want to escape this house even just for a while, I need to breathe fresh air. I hope, I can do it with you. Well, as you allow me to go with you today."

I stared at her for one second and the next thing I know, I gave her a nod and a short diclosure of smile before she runs, excitedly, for a dress to wear.
