CHAPTER 19: A LOST TO REMEMBER

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

-Flashback 11 years ago-

I was at the table eating quietly while my father and mother are talking happily

I finished the food I was eating was about to jump down from my chair when my mother stood up dragged me toward the dark basement

She opened the door and pushed me I'm down the stairs of the basement

"Don't worry, I'll let you out. I and your father have something to discuss" Mother said putting on her fake smile

I weakly nodded and sat on the cold ground

I put my hand over my head "This hurts..." I put my hand down and saw some red substance on it

"Huh? Oh, it's the water (Y/N) keeps seeing whenever Mother plays with (Y/N)..." I said tilting my head, then I heard some crashing noises from above

(Yes, (Y/N) speaks in 3rd person.)

"Can you stop hurting (Y/N)?! I'm sick of it! If you don't stop then I'm going to leave you and take (Y/N) with me!" A voice from father said shouting at mother I think

"Why do you care about that child anyway?!" Mother shouted back, then I hear some plates shattering

"Because she's my daughter!!! You're just her f*cking stepmother! I married you so you can take care of (Y/N)! While I'm at work!" Father yelled

I began whimpering "So loud..." I said my ears were ringing too loud, I covered my ears as I hear the muffled sounds of father and mothers argument

"Why did I marry you?! I shouldn't know that you were just tona use me!"

"Why would I use you?!"

"Don't act dumb to me you b*tch! I saw you making out with that guy! Don't lie to me!!!"

"Oh! And I didn't forget that time where I saw you abusing (Y/N)!"

" (...)! No! I-I didn't abuse her! And I didn't cheat on you!"

Then I heard a clicking sound

"Too late to deny..."

*BANG*

"FINALLY! that b*tch is dead..."

I hesitate to stand up and check out what was going on but, curiosity got the better of me. I stand up from res stained cold ground and slowly went up the stair, I looked at the doorknob noticing how high it is up close. I tried to reach for it but no matter how much I tried to I just want to reach it. Then the doorknob twisted sideways and the door opened revealing father with his cheek stained with the red substance

He picked me up and carried me "Hey (N/N), are you hurt?" He asked me with his gentle voice which he only uses towards me and mama

( The stepmother is called "Mother" while (Y/N)'s original mother is called "mama")

I put my hand over my head "(Y/N)'s head hurts, there was red substance coming out" I answered pouting a little
