"Sav what the hell!!!" I said, running to her and snatching my computer from her hands "There's like 15 companies in this list, how did you even manage to do it that fast"

"I keep them in my contact list of course" She replied, running to the other side of the room "You never know when you are gonna need them, I'm always prepared." She replied, putting her hands on her waist and her head up proudly.

Maddie lightly rested her hand on my shoulder while I frantically scrolled the emails and slowly opened her mouth to ask

"Are you totally freaking out right now?" She asked, softly

I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. My adrenaline was through the roof. The fact that my work was out there for all of these important people to read was nerve wracking but it was a step in the right direction if I ever wanted to actually tell my stories.

"A little, but I was actually thinking about sending it anyways" I said, shrugging my shoulders and relaxing at last.

"WHAT?" she asked back, shaking her head in disbelief "You were totally terrified of that just like DAYS ago"

"Yes I know but I feel like I had to hit a new bottom with Matthew for him to lose the power he had over me and most importantly my work" I replied, "And now he finally has none" I continued, crossing my arms, looking pleased with myself.

"Spoken like a truly empowered woman" Sav said, slowly getting closer to us "So you are not mad at me at all?"

"I couldn't, even if I tried" I said, and proceeded to punch her arm.

"So what was that for?" She said, rubbing where I hit her

"Being nosey" I replied

"I hate people that hate my talents" she said, puckering her lips and raising her eyebrows.

Maddie and I smiled at each other and shook our heads in disbelief. We were about to turn the TV on when Sav stood up in front of us.

"Nope, I'm not going to allow this, we haven't done anything together in this city ever since we came. Nothing that didn't end up in a disaster anyways. So let's go hit the town." She sentenced, and stood there waiting for a response pointing at the window.

Maddie and I looked down at our really comfortable couch seats, our body outlines engraved in the pillows.

Sav read our faces and put her hands on her hips. "What part of 'I'm not allowing this' didn't you get? Come on, stand up." She said, and took our hands to take us out of the couch. We both grunted and flared our noses at her.

"You are going to thank me later, now go, get ready, I want you both presentable to society" She continued, pointing at my room.

We got ready and went outside the apartment. I actually needed a day of just meaningless shopping and banter. We were walking down the streets when we saw a place called "Neptoon Records".

"Hey let's go in" I said, something called me into that place. We were browsing through some vinyls and I saw they had a cassette section. I started looking at them just for fun and then I got the best idea.

"This would be so funny" I thought to myself.

"Girls, would you mind if I met you let say, an hour from now, in the park? We can go get dinner when we do" I told them, as I walked out of the store.

"Uhm ok..." I could hear them both mumble as I went through the doors.

An hour later as I said we met at the park and walked to a Chinese restaurant.

"What are you being so secretive about?" Sav asked, as she sat down next to me, trying to peep into the bag I carried with me.

"You'll find out soon enough, don't worry" I said, hiding it behind me and resting my back on it, "I got Kenny on it too"

"I hate being kept out of fun things" Mads said, pouting. I patted her back and then passed them the menu, "Don't even try I won't tell you what this is" I said, when I saw that they were now both making puppy eyes at me.

We ordered our food and ate. Finally, a whole fun day with no drama. It was like my soul came back to my body after not feeling like myself for a while.

We left Mads at her place and headed to the apartment, as we had to work early in the morning.

The next two days on set were crazy full of work, specially without Owen and Charlie there to actually choreograph the scenes, we had Sacha and Tori overworked playing their parts to try and figure stuff out. Even tho I really needed some time away from him to just let all things settle, I couldn't wait for Charlie to come back. And Owen and Maeve too, of course.

After an intense day at work I came back to the apartment at about 11 pm and all I wanted was my bed. I threw my shoes the minute I opened the door and made my way to the kitchen where I was received by a very sleepy and shirtless Owen, preparing a bowl of cereal and surrounded by boxes and bags.

"Dude, what are you doing here" I said, rubbing my eyes and yawning. He was startled by me and spilled milk all over the counter.

"Ugh Eri, look at what you made me do" he replied, pointing at the mess he made.

"Are you serious right now" I went over to him and hugged him, he hesitated but hugged me back.

"What are you doing?" he mumbled, as we let go off each other "I thought you were mad about the spillage" he continued, smiling at me.

"I'm just glad you are here. I'm guessing" I said, looking down at him and then around at the mess "Maeve is here too."

"Yes she's asleep, and has been since we arrived an hour ago. 45 hours in a car do that to you"

"45 hours?? Were you guys driving to the tune of Mach GoGo?" I replied, shocked.

"That's an old person reference Eri" he said, mockingly "And yes Charlie drives really fast and won't let you stop to pee unless you are a girl and the only one that wanted to pee all the time was me"

I rolled my eyes at him smiling at the mere mention of Charlie's name and then passed him a shirt.

"So I'm guessing Charlie is with Lilly at your place" I said, as if I was dipping my foot in cold water.

"Yup" he replied as he threw the shirt on. Splash. Cold water all over my body. I knew that was the answer and I still felt my body freeze in place.

"You should talk to him. I can tell he still cares about you." He said and tilted his head lightly and pouting a little.

"Don't pity me Owen, I'm ok, seriously. I'll try and be his friend. And hers. That's If they even want to. If he even wants to. I feel like we've talked enough, now I'll just have to do, you know?"

"Wise words. I want to meet whoever put that idea in your head" he replied, pointing his finger at me.

"It was Jer" I said, nodding and looking out dreamily.

"Hey no, it was me!" He replied, now pointing his finger at himself.

"If you're staying here, hit the couch lover boy" I said, walking out the kitchen "Maeve's bed is not here yet and there's no way I'm sleeping in that thing"
