Ryanne
Day one: Done.
I thought it was going to be harder but gladly it wasn't and as I am walking out the psychology facility, I feel like at least an ounce of the tons weighing on my shoulders was taken out. I thought it was going to be harder but I guess his idea with the tie helped me plus I was so hyperaware of everything else that his scent infiltrated my nostrils like sand on a beach, simply inevitable.
I walk home still weirded out. Walking slower than usual, by the time I get there I have a few messages in my inbox.
Sylvain: How did it go honey? Call me when you can.
Ash: Wanna go out tonight?
Carson: Are you free in the afternoon?
Dom: Wanna go out tonight?
I decide to call Syl first and let her know how everything went.
"Honey, I'm glad you're doing this."
"I think it was time for me to do this."
"It was indeed. And how is your therapist?"
Hot. "He's good."
"Huh, is there something you're not telling me."
God, am I that transparent? "No, Ma. When have I ever hidden something from you?"
"When you started getting under the sheets with my son."
I blush and blanch at the same time and I lower my head in shamefulness even though she is not watching me. "I'm sorry Ma. I know you guys taught me better than that and that..."
"I have told you I don't need to hear it but it would have been nice, so to speak, to have heard it from either of you instead of watching you sneak out his apartment. But...before you say anything no I am not mad, after all it already happened, in fact your mother and I had always wondered if that'd ever happen."
They did? "You did?"
"Mjm. It was your mom's and my dream for our kids to marry each other so we'd officially become family. Somewhere along the way I knew it would probably never happen but I was scared, shit less scared that you'd come out pregnant."
Yeaah...living in a house with 4 teenage boys being a teenager yourself had to be a risk thus why they informed us about safe sex and birth control from a very young age. That was a very funny and awkward memory
"Gladly that never happened."
We talked a bit more before I ended the call. I call Ash after asking about tonight's plan.
"Let's go to The Parthenon tonight and watch the game." Ash says the minute the call goes through.
"Well Hello to you too. Dom asked me to go out with her tonight is it the same place?"
"Yes, we want to go watch the La Liga game."
"Not fair, I'll be the only Atleti Fan."
"Not true Ry, maybe one of the guys is Atleti."
Wait, What? "Are all the guys going?"
"I think so."
Ugh. Am I ready to confront Kellan back as a friend. Hearing my reluctance, Ash says, "Come on babe, Go for me."
When will she be able to say no to her best friend?
"Fine I'll go. What time?"
"Eight."
