Sliding into my DMs (Chris Evans fanfiction)

Chapter 4

The next morning I woke up about 10.00am. I stretched my arms over my head and remembered my dream from last night. But I soon realised it wasn't a dream. I had been chatting to Chris Evans for hours! This was bonkers!

I grabbed my phone and there was 2 unread whatsapp messages. One from Charlie and one from Cap! I opened Charlie's and she'd sent me a gif of Chris with no shirt on, fantastic timing! I opened up Chris', his simply said 'hope you had a good night's sleep and aren't too tired, have a lovely day'. I decided not to reply given the time difference but made a mental note to reply later on. I quickly replied to Charlie to tell her about the 3 hour conversation from last night.

I pottered around the house most of the day, doing odd jobs, cleaning the bathroom, sorting out the washing. I made myself some lunch and decided to have a break and popped a film on. I chose 'Before We Go', predictably with Chris Evans in. The character he plays is just so likeable, kind and sweet. I got towards the end of the film and decided to send him a message, it would be a reasonable hour in Boston.

Lucy

Hey Chris, thanks for the message this morning. I'm fine, slept till 10am. Been pottering around the house for the majority of the day, just having a relax watching a film now. Hope you're ok x

I didn't have to wait long for a reply

Hey Lucy, what's pottering? Is that a British term? What film you watching?

Lucy

Pottering, yeah think it must be British, just been cleaning, tidying, adulting basically. And umm just a film, nothing earth shattering...

Is it one of mine? Is that why you're not telling me?

Lucy

Might be!

Go on which one, it's Not Another Teen Movie is it? CRINGE!!!

Lucy

Before We Go, it's one of my favourites.

Really?

Lucy

Yeah, that and Gifted are up there.

Cap

Director sucked from Before We Go, had real problems with him, he was a dick

Lucy

Funny! Do you ever think you'd do a sequel? You left it so open ended.

Cap

I dunno, I really like how we left it.

Lucy

I loved the ending, but it was one of those moments of "What happens next?"

Cap

True. I kind of like letting the viewer decide the ending. So what else have you got planned today? I'm just om my way out to take Dodger for a walk then I'm going to my Ma's for food.

Lucy

I'm doing bugger all! Done all my cleaning so I'm gonna chill. I may have a beer and just get stuff ready for work tomorrow. Speaking of, when do you start filming?

Tomorrow, it's for a TV show based off a book. I'm really excited to start actually. Hey, I've got a British co-star you know!
