Chapter 6:

Girl Bonding

[Carly's POV]

"Babe are you okay?" I asked Amber when she got back from Singapore.

"Ahh.. Nothing babe. Just tired." Plain na sagot niya.

"Okay, magpahinga ka muna. I'll prepare dinner. What do you want to eat?" I asked her naughtily.

"Kahit ano babe." She answered, not even looking at me. Ngayon ko lang siya ulit nakitang nagseryoso.

"Okay po." I kissed her and went to the kitchen. Siguro nga ay pagod siya kaya wala siya sa mood.

Nagluto na lang ako ng pang dinner namin para naman ma-lighten up ang mood niya.

Matapos kaming magdinner ay naunang magshower si babe. She seemed really preoccupied and bothered.

Nagaayos ako ng mga damit namin from the laundry shop ng marinig kong tumutunog ang phone ni babe.

09********* calling..

"Babe? May tumatawag!" I told her.

Nakailang ring pa bago tuluyang lumabas si babe ng bathroom.

"Who is it?" Tanong niya.

"I don't know. Number lang po." I said. Still putting the clothes in the closet.

"I'll take it then." Kinuha niya yung phone niya saka sinagot ang tawag.

"Hello? Who's this?" I heard her ask. Tapos nun ay matagal siyang tumahimik, siguro pinapakinggan yung kausap niya.

Then she hurriedly went to the balcony.

I just continued what I'm doing. Nung matapos ako ay nauna na akong nahiga. Kinuha ko yung iPad para makapagbasa sa Wattpad, pampaantok lang. I've been reading a lot of GxG stories simula ng mag-sign up ako for an account.

I was about to start reading when Amber came to bed.

"Who's that?" I asked her. She looks worried.

"An old friend. Let's sleep." She kissed my forehead then turned her back on me.

Pinatay ko na lang ang lamp shade. Nahiga na ako at hinug siya kahit tinalikuran niya ako. There's something bothering her. Ngayon lang kasi siya hindi naglambing sa akin after more than a month na hindi kami nagkasama. She's supposed to be sweet to me like what she is before.

"Kung ano mang problema o dahilan ng pagkabother mo, nandito lang ako kapag gusto mo na ishare sa akin. I love you my Amber, good night." Bulong ko sa kanya at umayos ng higa. I looked at my room's ceiling. May glow in the dark stickers na dinikit ni Amber noon as a surprise. Tinitigan ko lang yun hanggang sa nakatulog na ako.
