The whole year ended really well for me. I celebrated Christmas and New Year with my brother. Si Theo naman ay kasama ang buong pamilya niya sa ibang bansa. They invited me but I realized that because of my busy schedule the past months, it became hard for me to spend time and visit my brother like what I always do before.

We didn't spend the holidays with our parents. We both received gifts from them but we weren't together, the four of us. I went to our house to greet my parents personally but I am with my brother the exact day of Christmas and New Year.

"What are your plans after graduation? I mean, obviously you'll review for the board exams but after that...", I asked my brother.

"I already made a list of firms na gusto ko sanang pag-apply-an", saad niya habang sinusuri ang mga sofa sa harap namin.

"What about Trazo Real?"

"Pwede rin. They're on my top list but considering that you're Theo's fiancé and I am friends with him, parang ang pangit naman tingnan"

"If you top the board, may masasabi pa ba ang mga tao?"

"What if I don't?", hamon niya sa akin.

"Still, please consider", I smiled at tumango lamang siya sa akin.

We're out in the mall buying him a new sofa set. For some reasons, nagiba ang sofa niya at ayaw ko nang malaman pa kung bakit.

"This one looks nice", I said but he didn't look happy with my taste.

"The color won't go well with my interior. I prefer leather white", saad niya kaya umikot pa ulit kami.

Right, I almost forgot that I am with an archi student and he's just so particular with colors and shapes and whatever.

We paid for the sofa set and we'll just wait for it to be shipped to my brother's unit dahil hindi naman 'yon kakasya sa sasakyan niya.

"Nga pala, bilhan natin ng regalo si Sofia", paalala niya pagkatapos naming bayaran ang sofa set.

"Close talaga kayo 'no?", kuryoso kong tanong.

Hindi ko alam kung paanong bigla na lang silang naging malapit sa isa't-isa. I don't even know when they started communicating with each other. Not that it's a bad thing because it's actually nice that they are keeping in touch. After all, Sofia is still part of the family. Siya pa nga ang legal.

"Kapatid din natin siya. Come on, why don't you try it with her? Mas dapat ngang kayong dalawa ang magkasundo"

"I wanted to, okay? Ang awkward lang talaga. What if she's bitter sa akin dahil pareho kaming babae pero parang ako ang mas gusto ni Dad sa aming dalawa?"

"She's a kind person. I'm sure she doesn't think that way", he answered.

Nakabili kami ng regalo at si Kuya na raw ang magdadala 'non kay Sofia. Niyaya niya akong sumama pero hindi na ako pwede dahil may trabaho na ulit ako sa mga susunod na araw.

"Baka naman nagdadahilan ka lang, Pich", irap niya.

"I-check mo pa sched ko. Promise, busy talaga. Gusto kong sumama pero mahalaga rin ang trabaho ko, Kuya. I'm not that 'big' yet to demand", I stated at mukha namang nauunawaan na niya ang punto ko.

Nagkaroon na rin ako ng balita tungkol sa nangyayari sa Del Rio. According to Theo, nagawan naman na raw ng solusyon ang pinproblema ni Dad. Hindi niya na masyadong pinaliwanag pa ang buong detalye basta tungkol 'yon sa shares at naibalik naman ang majority ng shares kay Dad dahil nakabili raw ito ulit.
