Unexpected Love (Oikawa tooru x Fem!Reader)

Chapter 22

Kozume Y/N

A month has already passed. I am trying to move on.  There were rumors that he was dating her now.  I won't lie, I did stalk their instagram and Mizuki did post picture of them with a caption as red heart.

He surely moved on fast.

I wonder why I am still hung up on him. I wish I can move on fast!!

Besides me being the girl struck up on her ex-boyfriend, Oikawa senpai has been too forward these days. His confession of liking me during the last tournament wasn't a mere joke. He tries making move on me but cautiously.

"Ready to go Y/N-chan?"Tooru senpai asked me snapping me back in the reality.

"Ah! Yes" I smiled at him.

It's almost Christmas already so we're going for a short trip with the team to Tokyo. And by team I mean Me, Tooru Senpai, Yua, Iwaizumi Senpai, Hanamaki Senpai and Kunimi. Rest  already have plans.

After three and half hours we were in my house in Tokyo. Kenma being the antisocial he was, he stayed in his room after briefly greeting us.  Iwaizumi senpai and Tooru senpai shared a room while Hanamaki Senpai was with Kunimi. 

We all were tired from travelling so we decided to rest today instead. Yua took a nap in my room while I went to spend sometime with my brother. It has been months since we last hung out.

Kenma was on his bed; playing on his switch when I jumped on him. 

"Oi! Y/N get off me" He groaned as he violently tried to shake me off him.

"Not happening" I poked my tongue at him as I hugged him tighter.

"Get off you slug" He pushed me but I stayed intact.

"Isn't he the same guy that made you cry few month ago? Why is he here?" Kenma asked me as I finally let go of him after 20 minutes.

"Well he did make me cry but he is one who has been supporting me ever since I broke up with Wakatoshi-san. He tries so hard to make me happy" I told kenma.

"He likes you" Kenma concluded.

"I mean he did confess to me the time I was still dating Wakatoshi-san so I ended up brushing him off thinking it was joke. " I told kenma who was genuinely listening.

"What about now? what will you do if he confesses? do you like him??" Kenma asked me as he placed his switch on the bed, indicating this was a serious conversation.

" I don't know. I mean there are times my heart has fluttered but I am not ready to be in a relationship. I just got out of one a month ago. What if he ends up falling out of love like Wakatoshi-san did. I don't have courage to feel that pain again" I cried and kenma pulled me into hug.

"Well, my only advice for you is to go with flow. I am sure you'll end up at the place you're supposed to be " Kenma stroked my back, calming me.

"Kenma, Y/n~" I heard kuroo san yell from downstairs. I and kenma walked downstairs to see Kuroo-san with few boxes of pizza with him.

"What's up with you being Noisy Kuroo. Stop turning into Bokuto" Kenma told kuroo and we heard the iconic "Hey! Hey! Hey" coming from the door.

"Kenma you're so mean" Bokuto-san glared at Kenma as he walked inside with Akaashi-san.

"Hi! Y/N" Bokuto-san waved as his eye landed on me. I smiled and waved back at him and slightly nod at Akaashi-san.

"Where are your friends? we're about to start the partyyy" Bokuto-san yelled as he got hyper. 

I went upstairs and brought them back in the living room. After all the introductions, everyone was already getting familiar with each other.  we were ready to party now. Well more like eat and watch movie.

"So what are we watching?" Yua asked me as she munched on the chicken Bokuto-san and Akaashi-san brought.

"Horror?" Kuroo-san suggested and Tooru-senpai grew pale. Right! He didn't like horror movies. 

"No! We're watching Christmas chronicles. It's Christmas after all" I demanded and everyone had to oblige. 

We all got our food and got all cozy as the movie started. I was sitting in between Yua and Tooru-Senpai.

"Thank you" Tooru senpai whispered in my ears giving me a mini heart attack. I collected myself before facing him.

"Huh? What for?" I asked him, practically whispering.

"For choosing this movie. You knew that I hate horror. So thank you for being considerate" He smiled at me and I swear  I felt my heart melt.

"Huh? I didn't choose this movie because of you. I just wanted to watch it" I tried pretending to be dumb.

"Whatever you say Y/N-chan. But thank you" He smiled at me as he ruffled my hair.

I put my head on Yua's shoulder as the movie continued. 

In the middle of movie, I felt some weight on my lap. I looked down to see Tooru Senpai sleeping on my lap. Unconsciously my hand moved to his hair, playing with it. I was playing with his hair, staring at his face thinking about thousand things.

I pulled my hand coming back into senses.  He grabbed my hand without opening his eyes and brought it back to his hair, indirectly telling me to pet him.

I blushed a little and started stroking his hair again.
