Chapter 16

Kozume y/n

Three days have passed and here I am still in Tokyo snuggled into my favourite blanket overthinking about Oikawa Senpai and his words that hurt me so so bad. My heart clenches every time I recall it. I am such an idiot.

"Y/N do you want to come and watch our practice match?" Kenma Knocked on my door as he walked inside. Kenma has been really considerate of me since that day. He asks me to watch his practice matches everyday and I always refuse. 

Not this time though.
I need to pull myself together. 

"Yeah give me ten minutes. I'll change" I gave him a small smile.

"Okay I'll be waiting downstairs with Kuroo" He said without bothering to hide the surprise on his face.

After changing, three of us walked to Nekoma's gym. Lev and Yamamoto came running and pulling me into hug.

"Y/N I missed you" Levochika and Yamamoto said simultaneously and glared at each other.

"But I missed Yaku-san and Kai-san" I playfully smile and ran to hug them but Yaku-san ran away. He always do that. Tsk.

I hugged Kai-san and he hugged me back smiling gently at me like the big brother he was.

"How do you feel now? Kuroo said you weren't feeling well." Yaku-san asked me still maintaining the distance between us.

"All good" I gave him a smile and opened my arms so he could hug me.

"Y/N No" He gave me the stern look.

"Yaku-san Yes" I gave him the stern look.

"Fine" He rolled his eyes and hugged me for 5 seconds before pulling away.

"Okay enough! Let's practice now" Kuroo-san announced being the captain he was .  

It was two and half hour of practice. They did let me join sometimes in the middle and It was fun. I was really refreshing.

After practice we got dumplings at my favorite dumpling place here. Kuroo-san even treated us some ice-cream.

"It's really nice to see you smile again" Kuroo-san pat my head as we reached the gate of our house.

"Buy me ice-cream. I'll smile everyday" I joked.

"Okay. I'll buy you some tomorrow too" He laughed.

"Oh! I am going back to Miyagi tomorrow. Maybe next weekend or whenever I come back" I told him.

"It's only two days before weekend. Just stay" He suggested.

"Nah! I missed too much of school. Can't miss any further" I reasoned and he nodded. 

"Okay then. Take care on the way back" He said and I nodded.

Next day I left home at 6:30 am. By the time I reached Miyagi  it was thirty minutes before the school started. I rushed to my apartment. Changed into my Uniform and rushed back to school.

I barely made to school on time. As I entered the class, the bell rang.  

"Omg Y/N you're finally back. Why didn't you respond my text messages? I was so worried" Yua glared at me as she was about to cry.

"Sorry I wasn't well" I told her the half truth.

"I thought you were mad at me because I gave you cold treatment back at the gymnasium. I thought you hated me" She cried as she pulled me into a hug.

"Ofcourse not silly. Why would I be mad at such trivial thing" I rubbed her back.

"Don't disappear like that ever again" She sniffled.

"I won't. Let's go to our seat. Sensei is glaring at us" I pointed at Sensei who was shooting draggers with his eyes. Yua laughed and we settled down.

"You done being dramatic?" Kunimi gave me his uninterested look and I rolled eyes.

"Are you feeling better now?" Kindaichi asked me from the back and I turned back nodding.

"Y/N Focus" Sensei yelled at me and I sighed.

The classes were as usual. I focused in few classes and started day dreaming in others. It was recess and I was starving. I literally dragged Yua to cafeteria. Kindaichi and Kunimi followed.

We got our food and started eating. Well Yua, Kindaichi and Kunimi were eating, I was practically shoving it down throat as I was starving.

"How many days have you starved exactly?" Kunimi asked sarcastically.

"twn thwnsand ywrs" I spoke without swallowing my food. (Ten thousand years)

"You're disgusting" He gave me 'the' look.

"oh! Y/N you're finally back." Hanamaki Senpai said as he and Matsukawa Senpai sat across me and Yua. Iwaizumi Senpai Joined them too. I just hope he doesn't show up.

"Yeah" I nodded.

"What happened? Why did you skip school?" Matsukawa Senpai asked me.

"I was not feeling well" I said the half truth and he nodded.

"Are you feeling better now?" Iwaizumi Senpai and Hanamaki Senpai asked me at the same time.

"Yeah I am good" I smiled at them.  

I had few conversations with them and he didn't show up so it was all good. 

"I am done with my food. So I am leaving" I gave all of them a polite smile and they nodded. Kunimi and Kindaichi weren't done so I and Yua were the only ones to leave.

"Y/N let's stop by washroom, I really need to pee" Yua said as we walked back towards our class.

"Be done fast. I'll just wait outside" I said and she nodded.

I was scrolling through my phone and without realizing I started walking. I was about to bump into a pole. I crashed into it but my head landed on something soft. That minty woody smell filled my nostrils.  I didn't have to look up to see who it was.

I backed away and turned my heels walking away.

"Y/N wait-" Oikawa Senpai yanked my hand stopping me.

"Let me go" I tried getting out of his grip.

"Look I am sorry. I know I said things I wasn't supposed to say" His voice became softer. " Please forgive me. I didn't mean it. I regret everything please forgive me" He continued.

I just stared at him in eyes, pulled my wrist and walked away glaring at him.
