Chapter 11: Wedding Day

Engineer POV
I was getting ready when Player, Veteran, Ninja and Bro came in.
Player: Hey Engineer! We just came in to check on ya! You need anything?
Engineer: *Sigh* No. I'm just nervous is all.
Veteran: Dude dont worry, everyone is nervous on thier wedding day.
Bro: Ya! So I wouldn't worry about it!
Ninja just started learning English. He was getting somewhere just a bit slow is all.
Ninja: Yeah...You do...great!
Bro: Eyy! Hes getting somewhere!
Engineer: Yeah! Ninja, so far your doing great learning English!
Ninja: Thank..you.
Player: Anyway, Engineer, your gonna do amazing!
Veteran, Bro and Ninja: Yeah.
Engineer: Thank you. I'm so happy to have friends like you guys!
Player: No problem!!
I walked out there and waited for Gnome. At this point I was kinda nervous, after what the guys told me, I felt a bit more relaxed. Player was the "priest" since we didn't have one in space. (I forgot to mention they are on Polus. This chapter is a few months after last chapter)
Veteran: Player, you ready to to this?
Player: I guess. Its confusing, and I might screw up the lines but other than that yeah, I'm ready.
Sheriff: Oh, dont worry Player. You wont mess it up!
Player: Thanks Sheriff!
Angel came running towards us. Damn she was fast especially in that dress.
Angel: Shes ready! You'll do great Engineer.
She sat down next to Sheriff and leaned her head on his shoulder, making him blush. He put his arm around her and kissed her forehead, making Angel blush even more than he did. It was kinda cute. Then Gnome came out. She looked so beautiful...I couldn't help but to stare at her. But I could tell she was the same, she was just staring at me too. I couldn't believe this was finally happening.
(I'm gonna do the best I can with this part...Its been like 9 years since I've been to a wedding. Get ready...Its gonna be cringe...)
Player: We gather here today to celebrate the love between Gnome and Engineer. 5 months ago they decided they wanted to take thier love a step further. We will now have the exchange of the vows.
I got nervous knowing I had to go first. But I just said what my heart told me. I took a deep breath and spoke.
Engineer: Gnome, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. When I first met you, I knew I had finally found the one person in my life I have been looking for. I stand here now and say I will always be your husband, even after death.
Gnome looked at me with a look of amazement in her eyes. She sighed and gave her vows.
Gnome: Oh, Engineer, I used to be very shy when I first came here. When I saw you, I knew you were someone I could trust. The more we spent time together, the more I started to love you. But the day you asked me to be your girlfriend, I knew this love would last forever.
That was probably the best thing I ever heard. Player continued.
Player: After those lovely wedding vows we now ask the final question.
Player: Engineer, do you take Gnome to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Engineer: I do.
Player: Gnome, do you take Engineer to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Gnome: I-I do.
Player: Any objections?
No one said a word. Player closed the book he was reading from.
Player: They will now seal this love with a kiss. You may now kiss the bride.
I dipped her down and kissed her. After a moment we pulled away. Everyone clapped. Then we began the actual party part of the wedding. (Yes there was beer and wine involved.) Angel and Sheriff made sure they didn't have too much this time. Wich was probably a good idea. Angel only drank a little she was a tiny bit drunk but not too much she would lose her mind. (Like she had the past few partys involving drinks) But Sheriff on the other hand...He had a bit much...I watched one of their conversations.

Sheriff: *Making out with Angel*
Sheriff: Let me smash later tonight...
Angel: No! I'm not drunk enough for this crap!
Sheriff: Oh come on babe *hic* it's just for one night.
Angel: I dont care! The answer is still no.
Sheriff: Alright, you asked for this.

He pushed her down and pinned her to the floor. Then started to make out with her even more. I walked away before they noticed. I saw Gnome I walked over to her and picked her up bridal style and kissed her. She giggled a bit and I set her down. A few hours went by and everyone decided to go back to their rooms. So we went back to our room. We both changed and got into bed, Gnome snuggled close to me, I hugged her tightly against my chest. She was fast asleep, and it wasnt long until I fell asleep too.

Oh god, this one was super cringe for me to write! I forgot like everything that happens at a wedding so I kinda made up a few things and hoped to god it really happens. But as always,
