Kuvira was shaking as she held onto Sukara. The brainwashing Guan had done to her had cracked, it didn't have the same hold over her as before but now she was just left with a skull splitting headache.

With her arms tight round Kuvira's shoulders, Sukara stroked her hair to comfort her, glancing over at the ice dome that stood not too far away.

"Hey!" a voice shouted, making Sukara swivel to see Iroh jogging up to her, "you're still alive."

"I am," Sukara said with a smile as she rested her head on Kuvira's, pleased to know Iroh seemed to have sorted the issue of getting out of the town, "could you get her back somewhere safe please. I've got something to do."

"But first," Iroh said, letting Kuvira hold onto his arms to steady herself, "would you be mad if my mother told Lin where we were when she called looking for you?"

"No, it doesn't matter now does it?" Sukara shrugged, "I've got Kuvira back, I know we wanted the same thing. The only thing we disagreed on was the method."

"Okay great, cause she's here," Iroh said quickly as Lin came round the corner with a glare on her face.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" she demanded as she stormed over to Sukara.

"Oh, I'm sorry for saving MY wife from a maniac," Sukara snapped sarcastically as she rolled her eyes and turned to the dome, "now if I may have your permission, I'd like to kill said maniac."

She was a little taken a back that Lin seemed so angry, she had assumed that once it was all over they'd be fine.

"Sukara you put yourself in serious danger," Lin tried to tell her but Sukara had shattered the dome and was going towards Guan, "Sukara stop!"

Lin ran forward and grabbed her arm, thinking that the United forces soldiers would pick Guan up.

"I'm sorry, was what I did not good enough for you?" Sukara asked, clearly very frustrated and overwhelmed, "did you want me to be better?"

"I did, but--" Lin started but she was cut off when Sukara pulled her arm out of Lin's grip.

"I should've know it wouldn't be any different," Sukara said, shaking her head as she backed away from Lin, "all family's the same right."

"Sukara wait," Lin called after her, her voice softer as she saw the tears starting to appear in her eyes.

"Maybe it is me," Sukara shrugged as she went to follow the direction the ice had been pushed in as Guan left, "maybe I am just a fuck up that makes the wrong decisions and maybe killing Guan is one of those decisions, but I'm still going to make it."

"Sukara I can't let you do this, not now," Lin told her, taking a step forward but she froze when the pain in Sukara's expression turned into anger.

"Lin you are not my mother," Sukara snapped at her before she left, "I'll do what I like."
