Korra and Suyin were sitting in Su's living room, talking about their problem with Kuvira, when a Bataar senior came through the door.

"We have a guest dear," he said calmly, implying that it wasn't Kuvira again, "she said she's here to help with our situation."

He stepped aside to reveal Sukara standing behind him. She gave Su an awkward smile, and Korra a surprised nod when she spotted her.

"Sukara?" Korra said, standing from the couch.

"The one with Vaatu's spirit?" Su asked, getting herself ready to fight.

"No, she's okay," Korra told her, waving Su down before turning back to Sukara, "what are you doing here?"

"I was actually going to Republic city when I heard about what was going on in Zaofu. And let's just say we have a common distaste for a certain asshole that sits outside," she said, a frown deepening on her brow.

"Kuvira, she attacked Femaoh?" Korra asked, Sukara just nodded. She looked worried. "Are they okay?"

"I hope so, but I don't think I helped them that much," Sukara said, a twinge of guilt appearing in her chest.

"Wait," Su said, looking like she had just realised something, "you have the same power as Korra, right?"

"Yeah, why?" Sukara asked.

"Then if Korra won't go out there and defeat Kuvira," Su explained, taking a step towards Sukara, "will you?"

"Absolutely," Sukara agreed immediately, "I would like nothing more than to put her on her ass."

"No, let me talk to her," Korra stressed, "besides if you send her, there's no guarantee that she'll bring Kuvira or your son back alive."

"There is that," Sukara agreed.

"You were planning on killing them?" Su exclaimed, looking in confusion between the two Avatars. Her faith in Sukara fading a little with her calm attitude towards murder.

"You didn't say I couldn't," Sukara said, trying to defend herself as Su continued to stare at them.

"Relax okay," Korra said, trying to calm them down, "no one is killing anyone, I'm going to go and talk to Kuvira. Hopefully we can work something out."

"Don't hold your breath Korra," Su told her, "Kuvira doesn't listen to reason."

Korra's plan hadn't gone as she would have hoped. And now with Su captured after trying to attack Kuvira, they really were running out of options.

"I see the Avatar has brought a friend," Kuvira chimed, "who are you?"

"Are you trying to tell me no one has mentioned me before," Sukara said, playing along with Kuvira's tone, "does Femaoh ring any bells for you?"

"Oh," Kuvira's playful expression turned to a scowl, Sukara just kept smiling, "you have been a problem I've been meaning to take care of."

"Well, if a beautiful woman like you had come and asked me herself, things may have been different," Sukara joked, trying to get a rise out of her, "but, I don't bode well with messenger boys. How's your guys arm?"

"He'll be fine," she shrugged, forcing the scowl off of her face.

"Sukara," Korra hissed, almost in time with Kuvira.

"What? She's hot," Sukara said simply, whispering back to Korra, "can I not have some fun before you kill her."

"I'm not going to kill her."

"So, Avatar," Kuvira said, cutting over them, "have you come to surrender the city of Zaofu?"

"You know I can't do that," Korra told her, straightening herself back up to face Kuvira.

"Well then," Kuvira smirked, she turned her back on them to face her army, "I want you to know that I would never ask something of you that I wasn't willing to do myself. That is why rather than risking your lives, I will risk my own and fight the Avatar one on one."

"Why? You scared?" Sukara called over to her, gaining a sharp nudge from Korra.

"I would gladly fight you," Kuvira chuckled, "if the Avatar isn't feeling up to it."

"She's fine." Sukara snapped, before Korra put a hand on her arm to stop her.

"I can do this," she told her, she gave Sukara a nod for comfort before turning back to Kuvira, "it doesn't look like you're giving me a choice."

Kuvira smirked as Korra got ready to fight. Korra threw the first blow and then they were off. Everything in Sukara made her want to jump forward and help as she watched Kuvira wear her out. She didn't want to watch Korra lose but she knew she couldn't step in to help without making Korra look weak. This was Korra's fight. But the longer it went on, the worse Korra was losing. Even in the Avatar state, something went wrong and she fell.

"Korra!" Sukara shouted as the scene began to crumble.

She shot a sharp blast of air with Opal and Jinora sending the dictator flying. A quick dart forward and Sukara swooped down and picked up Korra. She made sure to protect them while they got away.
