days later the friends were all still in a daze. the hours went by like seconds of tear gazed thoughts. no one did much of anything.

"hello my children" sikowitz smiled walking into class, a coconut in one hand and pen in the other. he noticed quickly that all of the friends didn't react to his happy tone.

"why the sourpuss?" he whined kneeling down eccentrically next to tori.

"just cat" tori responded looking down at her lap. andre bit his lip back, seeing tori so upset made his heart break a little.

"well children cat is flying up above high soaring like a flamingo" sikowitz laughed standing up.

"but... flamingos don't fly" andre said raising his eyebrows.

"and she's not dead yet." jade stated flatly standing up and walking out of the class. not because of anger necessarily, but she'd been thinking about cat for almost a week straight now, and she couldn't take it. her mind felt on the edge of explosion and nothing seemed to really be there anymore. not even beck. she ran to her car and just drove.

ending up at the hospital was inevitable. cat looked almost the same as a week ago. maybe she had a little less blood on herself. that was a good sign, jade thought. oh yes a good sign they hosed her down, jades sarcastic sides comment interrupted her positive thinking. she sat down on cats bed, because poor little cat only took up half of the wide bed.

"hey cat" jade said softly. "i don't know if you can hear me but if you can, please know that i love you so much. i cant stop thinking about you and i cant control this. i'm not hiding you cat, i'm hiding myself." she started to cry softly and realized this was the millionth time she had cried in the past week.

"fuck you cat you keep making me cry" she laughed to herself lightly. "i mean i don't even know what i want cat. i want you but i want beck too. oh and thanks for listening to my rant" she added laughing again.

"it's just like i can't be in love with two people at the same time but i am. and you're like this forbidden love that i can't have and he's just beck. i mean i love him and he's always been there to save me, but i don't need saving anymore. i can do this without him when maybe i couldn't a few years ago. and you you're just beautiful and you're this amazing girl i just can't have because society says no." she sighed her smile fading.

"but i don't give a fuck what society says" she lied to herself again. "damnit yes i do" she admitted loudly, getting angry at herself quickly. "we were crazy to think that this would work cat" she mumbled on. she looked away from cat, nor being able to look at her anymore. she just stared at the door that didn't move, concentrating on nothing.

"i mean you get lost when you're led by blind faith." she blabbered on after a few minutes.

"but we might just get away with this." a voice came from behind her. jade snapped her head to cat whose eyes were fluttering open.

"CAT!!" jade screamed aggressively squeezing the hand of her friend.

"what were you saying jade?" cat said with a sly smile on her face. "you looooove me jade" she squealed looking happy.

"cat how the fuck are you awake?!" jade asked still scared, her eyes being open wide.

"i woke up this morning i was just trying to sleep when you walked in" cat responded giggling.

"CATARINA VALENTINE I WILL MURDER YOU! WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP ME?" jade screamed her heart beginning to pound.

"i'm sorry jade i just liked the nice things you were saying" cat said her puppy dog eyes bulging out. and jade swore her bottom lip popped out a little bit too. jade inhaled deeply trying to stable herself.

"jeez cat" she mumbled under her breath.

"i love you too" cat giggled softly touching jades arm. it was the most comfortable she'd felt in a week. she stared into cats big brown eyes and forgot the rest of the world. she just wanted to shove her up against the wall right now, but as she stared at cat the lock on the door clicked.
