The first time that you touched me
Oh, will wonders ever cease?
Blessed be by the mystery of love

Harry

I will never be able to believe this happened.

I woke up with her on my chest, her lips pressed against my neck, her sweet breath fanning out over my shoulder and I tug her even closer. Her blonde hair was still in her perfect messy bun, her cute little body shoved so close to mine I wouldn't be surprised if she could hear my heartbeat at a million miles an hour.

I brush her hair back out of the way, smoothing her hair away from her adorable face and her eyes were closed, looking so peaceful against my chest. Lila always looked so stressed and so wary around everyone, but once she's here with me, I can finally see how calm she looks. God, she is so perfect. She may have scars and other different things that she would call an imperfection, but everything about her to me is perfect. She sees herself in a way that has my stomach stinging, and I wish her dad were here to tell her how gorgeous she was, compared to who she sees in her own eyes. I know she misses her dad a lot, especially since this is her first tour, and I wish he was here to see it all.

I widen my eyes when I hear Mitch jump down from his bunk, and I shush him when he looks at me, his eyes softening sleepy at me and he smiles, fluffing my hair before walking away, and I know I have to get up to get into the hotel soon, since we have a show earlier in the evening, leaving us time to go out to bars and such. I don't want to get up, but I know that if I keep bothering with her hair I might accidentally wake her, and god knows she needs the sleep.

I carefully press my lips to her forehead, hoping she wouldn't wake up any time soon, and I somehow managed to slide out from her arms, leaving her to peacefully sleep in my bunk, under my blanket, and in my mind. I quickly go to the restroom before tugging out my bag to grab my toothbrush and other necessities, brushing my hair with my hands, and answering all 25 of Jeffs's emails before I go out to the kitchen, leaning against the counter as I start the coffee machine, scrolling through Instagram.

Most of the fans from the One Direction era were very certain that we were getting back together, and even if we promised, I'm not fully sure it will happen. Everything ended in a way it shouldn't have, and it was just so much stress to go through those last couple of months knowing it was all ending. I know that we will always be friends, and we will always be thankful for how far we've been able to come, but even then, I don't think anything could get us to be together again. I don't want that to be the case obviously, for the sake of the fans, but I couldn't understand why it all fell apart so quickly, and what changed about them.

I grin to myself when I feel a pair of little arms wrap around my waist, and I turn to see her. She looked bright and happy and full of energy for the day, and most importantly she looked beautiful. Her hair was pulled in the same messy bun I admired, pulled at the sides and she had changed into a pair of charcoal leggings and a thin tight long-sleeved shirt, cropped above the ending of her leggings.

"Hi," she smiles and I take her face in my hands, stroking her blushed cheeks.

"good morning," I smile back and she looks to the coffee cup I had made, and I grab it and place it in her hands, watching her smile up at me before giddily taking a few sips of my coffee. It was things like this that meant so much to me, the small cute little things that I wish I could savor forever with her.

"We're close to the hotel by now, but is there anything you want to do while we're here?" I say and she hands me back my coffee, looking out the window as she shakes her head.

"Can I...can I stay with you tonight?" She asks and my heart melts at the nervousness in her voice.

"Of course you can, Lavender...you don't even have to ask," I whisper and she smiles, the bus stopping and I send her along to get her bags, us all filing into the hotel. Tonight was different arrangements than usual, Lila, Mitch, and I all having rooms to ourselves, but they were all connected by one lounge room in the middle.
