Romans 12:17 "Never pay back evil with more evil."
Rushing to the cabin house Taehyung busts open the door locking it immediately after. "Let's just pack some clothes, hygiene products, and the little bit of food we have left." He commands pulling out a duffle bag and a book bag. I nod, copying whatever the other boy was doing. It didn't take too long for us to pack. "Fuck, we don't have any means of transportation." He curses, facepalming. "Can't we take a bus or a cab?" I suggest willing to try every option out there. "Yeah, I guess we could take the bus and get off at the farthest place." I nod in agreement. Hurriedly we leave the beautiful cabin and make our way to the nearest bus stop. Departing with that cabin made a metaphorical tear in my heart. It was so peaceful and the atmosphere was comfortable. I wouldn't mind staying there with Taehyung forever. Now I'm not sure whether I'll ever see it again. "Taehyungie, are you gonna miss the cabin?" I ask curiously. Without a second thought he responded, "No, not really." His answer confused me. I wasn't expecting that response. "Huh? Why?" He shrugged, "I don't know. I guess I've spent so much time there and have so many memories. I feel like it's done its due diligence for me and now it's time to move forward. That's how I see it." I look up at him in awe. "That's a really positive way to look at it." He nods, "Yeah, I guess so. I feel like life is way more tolerable that way. When you try to look at things in a more positive perspective." This boy always teaches me new ways to enjoy and look at life. Honestly it makes me want to do better, but that's difficult. With him here it's easier for me to find motivation to fight my demons instead of submitting to them.
Finally a bus comes after our wait at the bus stop that lasted about a half an hour. Taehyung paid and grabbed my hand so we could find a seat together. The perk of this town being small is there weren't many others on the bus with us. There was an old man reading the newspaper and a young woman holding an infant in her arms. A little girl who looked about 6 sat next her. The baby boy and I locked eyes. He smiled brightly at me gurgling a bit, making me smile. Noticing the baby's excitement the little girl turned her attention to me with wide eyes. "Wah, Mr. you are so pretty." She states in admiration. "Thank you." I reply with a warm smile. Gotta love the blunt honesty of children. The mother looks up from her phone and glares at me, then at her daughter. "Jua don't say such sinful things, boys cannot be pretty, only girls. You call boys handsome." She snaps making Jua curl back, frightened. "Sorry mama." My smile fell when watching the scenario in front of me. Poor girl, I feel for her and her little brother. Her situation reminds me of my own parents, I'm praying it's not as extreme for her. I'm hoping though that she doesn't fall for the trap of close mindedness, it's truly an evil mindset. Turning towards Taehyung I notice how grim his expression is. A certain look of pity swarming in his chocolate orbs. Looking back towards the small family I frown. The mom was back on her phone and Jua was slumped in her seat with a pout. Happy gurgles were heard from the baby who was too young to be aware of the situation. "We should get off at this stop. There's a hotel near here." Taehyung whispers in my ear. When the bus slows to a halt we both get. "Bye Jua." I say softly waving goodbye to her and the baby. She beamed at me waving back with her chubby little hand. Stepping off the bus Taehyung grabs a hold of my hand once again. We walked for about 10 minutes to the mini hotel. It's one of the two in the town.
"Hello sir, what do you need?" The desk lady asks politely. "One room please. It's only for one night." Taehyung replies. I keep my head down making sure no one else will miraculously recognize me. "Yes, here's the key. It'll be 50 dollars." After he payed we went off to find our room. The room we got was on the second floor. It was a decently sized room. There was one queen sized bed with a large flat screened TV in front of it. The rest of the room was spacious with minimal decor. A light grey paint adorned the walls complimenting the light hardwood flooring with a fluffy, white rug on top. "I don't know about you but I'm tired." Taehyung says while yawning. He plops down on the bed, laying on his back. I watch as he scans my tired figure, making a shiver run down my spine. It wasn't a predatory stare though, it was more loving. "Come here. We should sleep Jiminie." His deep voice calls out to me softly. Complying was easy because I trust him. So I climbed on the bed and hesitantly snuggled into his side.
We both woke up not too long ago. It was the morning and we figured there would be breakfast available somewhere in the hotel. "I'll go see if anyone else is going to get breakfast." I inform Taehyung who was still lowkey half asleep. "Ok." He grumbled. Before even opening our room door I could hear faint voices coming from the hallway. Stepping into the hall I realized that the voices were actually arguing. Looking in their direction I freeze. My heart rapidly picked up pace. So much so it physically hurt. A part of me wanted to believe that I was just hallucinating. That the people I'm seeing aren't really in front of me. The blood drained from my face leaving me colorless and numb. They both were looking at me and I could see Jungkook trying to run to me but Yoongi grabbed his wrist. "Jimin we were looking all over for you." Yoongi says with concern but all I could hear was the dastardly truth. His true colors were always laid out in plain sight for me. "J-Jungkook, what're you d-doing with him?" I could feel myself trembling in terror. Just seeing Yoongi's face is triggering. "I-I can't explain now." He replies also looking frightened. "Jimin what's taking so-" Taehyung cuts himself off when his sight aligns with mince. I could instantly see the change in his demeanor. My heart almost jumped out my chest witnessing his next move. Taehyung went over to him with an aura of fury and rage, pushing him down to the ground. Lifting his foot he began stomping causing Jungkook and I to scream in horror. "What the hell is wrong with you? How can you live with yourself knowing what you did to him? What sicko do you have to be to think anything you did was ok? I fucking hate you! You don't deserve to be forgiven, you don't even deserve to live!" He shouts furiously with every stomp. Yoongi's face was covered in blood, he was stuck on the ground Taehyung not allowing him to get up. Jungkook made a move to pull the boy away, but he was resistant. "Taehyung stop!" I scream running over to him. Tears rushed down my face as I screamed for him to stop. Eventually other people came out of their rooms after hearing all the commotion. Multiple people came over to help pry Taehyung off of the boy. Finally they were successful and they had to also help Yoongi. Taehyung was breathing heavily eyes a pitch black color and sweat glistening on his skin, he looked like a beast. It scared me with how much anger he exuded, how animalistic he became. The wrath in his eyes was borderline crazed and I didn't know how to feel. I couldn't even go up to Taehyung because one of the security already got a hold of him. "No point in struggling against us, the police were called." The security told him when he writhed against his hold to escape. All of our efforts are being thrown away, there's no point we're in deep trouble now.
