Chapter 19: The information

A week had passed..

Raheem paced the floor in Kai's home. He had came over to pick up Kai, then her dad said he had the information about his dad. When the words came from Damion's mouth, he seen blood. He was mad and hurt and anything else. He hadn't told nobody, but he needed to let him mom know and Kai know. The only two women in his life that he cared about.

"I'm gone come back, let Kai know I'm alright." Raheem let Damion know and headed out the door.

"Be safe." Sandra said and went back to cleaning up.

Raheem entered his car and banging his hand down. He started his engine up and left out of the neighborhood. He went over the speed limit, he had much running through his mind and he didn't know what he should do. He wanted to go shoot up their families and shit. His phone was ringing and he glanced down, his main man, Cornell called from the 1-800 number. He picked up the phone and hit one in order for the call to proceed.

"What's up lil youngin?" Cornell questioned.

Raheem made sure his was calm before he said something. "Nothing, I'm good. Just riding in the streets and making money."

Cornell and Raheem had been friends long enough and he knew the stress in Raheem's voice. He paused and then started speaking again. He hated being behind bars, not knowing what was up in them streets.

"What's going on? I know some shit up, speak some shit that's on your mind." Cornell said.

"Trel and Diamond are the ones who killed my dad!" Raheem yelled. He had hot tears streaming down his face, he was hurt. He thought he had failed his dad, he seen the mostly everyday and he hadn't noticed.

He was at his mom's house now. He seen another car beside hers and he thought, who the fuck is this? Cornell was shocked on the other end.

"You lying, man. I'm going to get somebody on they ass, boy on some real shit. Let Damion know I appreciate the good ass Lawyer he got me and thanks for the money on my books, bruh. I'm gone hit you later, need to make some important calls." Cornell said, then hung up. He was gone make sure them two got what they deserved.

Raheem placed his phone in his pocket and opened up her door, unlocked and he was gone get on her about that again. He heard his mom on the phone in a panicked tone. He entered the front room and his eyes widened at the sight, his mom had a man covered in blood and gasping for air laid in her lap.

"What the fuck is this?" Raheem asked.

"He- he pulled up and got out of his car then collapsed, I had to drag him in here." Nancy said and cried. Raheem the glanced around and seen the blood stained floor and carpet. "The ambulance and police are on their way, I want to go down there with him to make sure he's alright."

Raheem shook his head. He didn't want his mom going down there with a complete stranger then they would be questioning her and he didn't want her involved into anything.

"No, stay here. I'll go, I have something to tell you too." Raheem said. "Bad news, but then again good news."

Nancy ignored him. The only thing she cared about was the man who laid in her lap and his life. She had never seen a almost lifeless body, she hadn't even see Randy when he had got shot except at his funeral. She held the man with both hands until she heard the ambulance, Raheem ran and opened up the door for them. They barged inside and went right to the man's rescue.

"Does anyone know his name?"

Both replied no. They put the man up on a stretcher and strapped him down, rushing him into the ambulance. Nancy watched them and cried like never before. Raheem went and comforted her, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.
