He pulled out and laid beside me on the bed, both of us breathing heavily. "Mirabelle.." He swallowed as I turned over to face him. "I'm sorry I left you." He pressed his lips against my forehead before getting up and collecting our clothing from around the room.

"It's okay. I understand." I smiled, taking my shirt out of his hands and tossing it over my naked body as he pulled his boxers back on. "Still.." He sat down beside me, staring at the ground. "Draco.." I cupped his face in my hands, turning his head to face me.

"I love you." I tried to stay calm, but my insides were churning with anticipation. "You love me?" His eyes widened, as if he had not quite understood. "Yes. I'm sorry it took me so long to realise, I just.. I don't know." I sighed, releasing my hands from his face.

"No.." He chuckled, grabbing my wrists and bringing them back up to his face. "I love you too. Thank you for telling me." He pulled my lips against his own, engaging in a short, but sweet kiss.

I smiled when he retreated his face, allowing him to pull his blanket across both of us, and falling into a deep, and peaceful sleep, our bodies tangled together.

Draco's POV~

I kept my hands around her, not daring to wake her by any sudden movements. The sunlight shone through the bedroom window, barely piercing the half-transparent curtains. It's golden-yellow coating her face, lightening her features.

I admired her pink lips, slightly parted as she breathed peacefully. Her long, dark lashes, her honey-brown hair which strung up in all directions. The slight signs of saliva in the corners of her mouth, which only added to her surreal beauty.

Every now and then, she'd stir slightly. Her eyelids fluttering half-open for a moment, a tired gasp escaping her lips, then she'd readjust her position and fall back into silence.

I couldn't decide if I wanted her to wake from her sleep, or if I was contempt with admiring her. Perhaps she'd find it creepy if she were to know I was watching her sleep, but it didn't feel weird. After the events of last night, I hoped she wouldn't mind.. "She loves me.." I whispered to myself.

I had missed her touch, longed for her lips, her smile, her voice. It had been torturous enough at home with my father, Bellatrix and Voldemort. A lack of the one whom I adored the most only added to my pain.

I could not remember the last time I had felt as calm as I did now. Probably the last time she had fallen asleep in my arms. I could get used to this.

"Draco.." She breathed, her morning voice sending shivers down my spine. She's so beautiful. "Good morning." I retreated my hands from around her, allowing room for her to stretch. "What time is it?" She yawned.

"Dunno, morning?" I shrugged. "Morning?.. MORNING?!" She was suddenly filled with energy, bolting upright in bed, panic stricken. "I'm supposed to share a room with Ginny!.. She's going to know." She groaned. Ginny had come to stay at shell cottage before their arrival, and was remaining since her family was now being hunted by Death Eaters.

"It's fine.." She eventually concluded. "She knows about.. us." She paused for a moment, as if searching for a label for our relationship. "I'll say we stayed up all night, talking, and eventually fell asleep." She decided.

"Mira, do you want to be my girlfriend?" I bit my lower lip, I had wanted to ask her for a while now, but I had been waiting for the right moment. It had occurred to me then, that I would never find the perfect moment, I simply had to go for it.

She was pulled from her thoughts, staring at me for a moment, not registering my words. "Your girlfriend?" She asked. "Yes.." I suddenly felt stupid, she didn't want to be my girlfriend. "Really?" Her eyes lit up. "Yes, yes, of course!" She threw her arms around me, kissing me on each cheek. "Fucking weirdo." I rolled my eyes as she retreated her lips from my face.
