APRIL FOOLS

CHAPTER ONE: FRIEND NAMED FELICIA

"Come on, open it. Open it!"

"Shut up, Felicia," I said and rolled my eyes.

"It's my gift for you, be excited!"

"Is this one of your pranks, Felicia?" I asked with an arched an eyebrow.

Except from being my friend, she's also a prankster of the group. Felicia always do some pranks, so I always ask her that question.

"Of course I won't, it's our friendship day, just open it, Claire!" she said with her sparkling eyes, pouted lips and clasp hands.

According to her, she came on the salon yesterday to cut her hair, for it to looks like mine. And now, we have the same haircut. She also wore a black choker, she even have a fight with a saleslady because she wanted a choker like mine.

"Open it, open it!"

"Come on, Claire!"

"We're excited! What's inside?"

I looked at my friends who are now cheering for me. Well, it's the day we became officially friends and Felicia gave us gifts.

"Okay, okay I'll--AAAAAAAA!" I scream in fear.

"What do you expect from Felicia."

"Are you okay, Claire?" Blue asked.

"Hey, Felicia!" Dave shouted.

"Felicia was running!" natatawa namang sigaw ni Zarina.

"What the heck, Felicia! Come back here, bitc*!" I shouted as I throw her as so called 'gift'! It's an eye toy for Pete's sake!

And as you know, I'm really afraid of those shits! And Felicia has this thing of tripping me this way.

In the middle of the way of chasing her, I remember happenings years ago.

"Tungkol nga pala sa--" I cut Gab off.

"Hey, forget it," I whispered. She should've forget it, goodness.

"Hey, hey guys look, it's the transferee," Zarina said and point someone through her lips. We turned our head and look at it.

"Her name's Felicia," said by Blue, and he murmured something that I didn't actually understand. "She looks like..."

"She has cold personality, I heard," Dave uttered.

"Let's be friends with her!" Zari suggested.

And months passed we made it, we became friends with Felicia.

Her sister died week before she transferred in our school. She was very close to her sister, according to her. No one even knows who killed her and they just found it's dead body meters away from their old house.

I pity her, she became cold just because she doesn't want to show others her weakness, but inside it's killing her alive.

Until we stepped up in college, our group never been apart. Our friendship deepen and deeper. We treat each other more than friends, more like brothers and sisters, I can say.

Felicia, she didn't lend us her family story, but we understand and respect that. Her sister's story of death was all we know.

In years of our friendship, she changed, by us I guess. She left her cold attitude, she became the group's prankster. She always do pranks, but in different way the other people do.
