"It looks like you three went through hell" said Yami while laughing at Magna, Asta and Noelle, "good job, you idiots". Unlike Yami, Asta wasn't in a laughing mood, "Is it really ok to be laughing Yami? Someone died" said Asta as he looked at the ground. "So?" said Yami as he took a puff of his cigarette, "being sad about it isn't gonna bring Seihi back is it?". "Bu-" before Asta could continue Magna intervened, "you're right Captain Yami, Seihi wouldn't want us to be sad! He would want us to laugh and be happy!" said Magna as he began to loudly laugh. "Come on Ratsa, Noelle laugh with me!" said Magna as he continued to laugh. Asta and Noelle then began to laugh however sounding very uncomfortable about it. "Alright that's enough" said Yami, causing the three to stop laughing, "it's a real shame what happened to Seihi. But, you protected the villagers. Hold your heads high, you did a good job today".

"We're back!" said Vanessa as she and Finral walked out of a portal. "We heard about what happened at Saussy village" said Vanessa as she turned to face Asta,Noelle and Magna, "good job out there". "We went to the Magic Investigation Department like you asked sir" said Finral, "good, did you find out anything?" said Yami. "Unfortunately no" said Vanessa, "the department went over anything they left but... no dice". "Dammit! What good are they then" shouted Magna as he threw a fireball at a wall causing a small crater. "Quit breaking everything!" shouted Yami as he destroyed the whole wall behind him. "Still, that pocket watch of his was pretty fancy" chimed in Finral, "not just anyone could afford something like that"."Not to mention the way you described them, they certainly came from a high status" said Vanessa ."So we're dealing with Nobility or royalty" said Magna , hearing the mention of royalty causes Noelle to look away from the conversation.

"Oh my, who's this little guy? He's so adorable" said Vanessa as she pointed to the bird on Atsa's head. "This thing is not adorable!" said Asta as he pointed at the bird on his head, "It is adorable" replied Noelle, in response to Asta's insult the bird started pecking Asta's head again. "Ow ow ow! Alright that's it! I'm gonna cook it for dinner!" shouted Asta as he pulled out his sword, "yeah get Asta! I bet it tastes like chicken!" replied Liebe as he started to throw his fist in the air. Asta then began to chase the bird while trying to hit it with his sword, "Asta don't you dare kill that adorable little bird!" shouted Noelle. When he didn't listen Noelle pulled out her trump card, puppy dog eyes, "please..." said Noelle. Now this... this go Asta's attention, "Fine... the stupid bird can live" mumbled Asta as he put his sword away with a slight blush, "Wha! Oh come on Asta, you almost had it!" complained Liebe.

"Alright that's enough" said Yami, catching everyone's attention, "listen up, it doesn't matter who attacked Sassy village. We're gonna let the Magic Investigation Department do their job. More importantly, I got good news". "Good news? What is it?" said Asta causing Yami to chuckle, "the Wizard King himself has acknowledged your actions" replied Yami. "Wait really!? The Wizard King acknowledged us!?" said Asta with stars in his eyes, "Yup, he's given us a star" replied Yami as he brought out a golden star, "we got a star!?..... What's a star?" said Asta. "Don't get excited if you don't know what it is!" said Magna. "Stars are given out by the Wizard King based on our performance on mission" said Vanessa, "all the Magic Knights squads compete to see who can the most stars. Currently the Golden Dawn is in the lead with seventy". "Seventy!? How many do we have Captain!?" said Asta as he turned to Yami. Yami then chucked before putting the star on a board full of black stars, "thanks to you, we're now at negative thirty". "Negative thirty!? You mean we're a hundred stars behind!" said Asta as he stared at the board, 'how the hell do you even get negative stars!?'. Noelle facepalmed when she saw the board 'why am I part of this squad...' she thought to herself.

"One more thing" said Yami before gathering all the Black Bull members and pulling out bags of coins, "It's payday". All of the members (besides Noelle) all went crazy once they got their pay. "Holy crap there has to be at least two hundred thousad yuls in here" shroud Asta as he looked at his pay. "Thank you sir" shouted Magna as he bowed towards Yami. "Thanks Captain, I'm gonna be able to eat lots of yummy food now!" said Charmy as she began to drool. "Hey Captain, how much would it cost to fight me!?" said Luck as lighting surrounded his fist, "not happening" replied Yami, "aw come on". "I'm planning on buying clothes for my darling Marie, what do you think would look good on her?" said Gauche as his nose began to bleed, "don't ask me" replied Yami. "Tomorrow is a day off so don't let it go to waste" said Yami as he walked off. "This isn't that much" said Noelle much to Asta's shock. "Are you kidding me!?" said Asta, 'how rich is she!?'.
