*BANG*
"Hey! Do you not have any eyeballs?!" I looked at the stain on my skirt in anger.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" I heard deep husky voice calling it out to me.
I looked at the ground and saw a pair of business shoes. I looked up at the man and realized he was wearing a louis vuitton suit, accompanying a gucci watch.
He reached inside his pocket and handed me a handkerchief.
Really? A handkerchief? For a huge bloody coffee stain? Hand me some tissue at least you big brain!!!!
"I'm truly sorry ma'am. But I'm in a really big rush! Could you leave me your address to my assistant, i'll pay for the damages. So sorry!" He rushed his words before dashing off.
I watched from a distance before his image disappeared from my sight.
"Hmph, you should've watched where you were going. How dare you cause him to apologize to you?" I saw that man's assistant scoffing at me.
"Excuse me? Your boss was the one running blindly towards me in a crowded street! And I'm the one to blame? You've got some balls you meatbrain!" I shouted.
"Oh gosh how can there be such a rude lady around the wealthiest street of Mexico." He raised his glasses.
He stretched his hand out to me but I slapped it away immediately. I stood up, adjusted my skirt and walked away quickly.
"I hope I never see your ugly face or your boss every again!!" I bellowed.

The next day
I squinted my eyes again and again as I sat opposite the table with the name "Julios Black" written on that very fancy transparent glass sitting in front of the person.
I tried blinking my eyes a few times or pinching myself on the thighs to see if this was a dream.
"You gotta be joking..." I muttered.
"W-why hello again.." He stuttered.
Life hates me...It's the guy I bumped into yesterday!!!
"W-why are you here?!"
"What do you mean why? You're talking to the director of Black Corporations." That same jackass assistant scolded.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Like, stop acting like you're the boss around here ugh. No one likes you get that shit in your head hmph!
"Shut up I ain't talking to you meatbrain." I growled.
"Now now, I apologize for my assistant's arrogance. Kleo, would you please step out for a minute? I'll handle the interview myself." He gave a lovely smile to this "Kleo".
"Of course sir. I will be right outside if you need me." He bowed before leaving the room, leaving just the two of us.
"So, Elena Castro."
I spun my head around in a panic, did his tone just change?
"Y-yes?"
"I heard you are quite the talker during the first interview. So brilliant that they demanded i interview you myself." He grinned.
"You flatter me Mr Black. I'm not so worthy of your compliments." I started to play in his game.
"Well, this is an interview after all. Shall we get started?" He started flipping over a folder.
I giggled. "Sure! Whenever you're ready."

"Elena Castro, age 19. Am I right?"
"Yes."
"I heard from the interviewers you would like to be my secretary. I'm sure you have heard rumors about this position?"
"Who wouldn't have Mr Black? I won't deny that fact, but i do believe in what I see more than what I've heard. You are the director of a very successful company, hence I am sure you do do your job well. Hence I have no reason to doubt you. After all, rumors are just rumors, right?"
"Hm. Being my secretary means you'll be in charge of all the paperwork. You might have to work over-time or cancel your day-offs."
"Yes I am well aware of that. But that will not be a problem, please do not worry. Because what I'm after is more important that my social life."
He stayed silent for awhile while looking at my profile. Even though I was sure to get the position, but I couldn't help but get nervous. He does have the dangerous aura around me after all. He's the director gosh, who the hell would be calm around him?!
"I heard you're a drop-out of Clear Waters College. Why did you drop out may I ask?"
His question took me back to reality. Is he trying to pry into my "personal life problems"?
"I am in need of money right now. I had no choice."
"You only had a year left right? Was the money situation so tight you couldn't hold on for a year more? What about a part-time job?"
"Mr Black, your job is to either accept me or reject me. I don't think you have any right to question my decisions whether to leave college and start working."
"Ms Castro, your job is just to answer me. All questions I'm asking will be related in your future job here. I am the boss here, I believe I know what I'm doing. If you are thinking I'm asking this for other reasons, then I suggest you brush it out of your mind immediately." He looked at me straight in the eyes with a slight smile.
Damn, he caught on.
"I apologize." I cleared all of my thoughts inside my head in case I blurted out something he might deem suspicious. He's surprisingly sharp. Even though I didn't directly say it, he could still understand the hidden meaning.
He might have saw my distress, so he broke the awkwardness by asking another question.
"One last question Ms Castro. If I like the answer, I'll accept your application immediately."
"Please go ahead."
"What do you think is the key to happiness."
"Love." I answered immediately with confidence.

But instead, he frowned.
"Wrong."
