Brian's POV

Having her around to entertain me felt so natural that now, it feels so weird without her. Those moments that we would pass by each other in the corridors, i always wished for us to stop and chat.

But whenever she would attempt to kill me, it was seriously the cutest. And secretly, i would just laugh at her attempt.

At times i would tease her and just dodge the needle. But sometimes i would play fire with fire and send the needle back. Seeing her trying and trying made me so happy, i didn't know why.

Cole, one of my friends would always tease me.

"Hey man, i see you blushing again when that girl walked past. Why not you just say hi." He laughed.

"Was I?"

"Yea man! It's so obvious."

"Ah well, we're currently on bad terms so."

"C'mon man, just go and apologise or something."

"It's not that simple."

Cole then shrugged and let it go till the next time.

Me? Blush?

Funny.

Carmen's POV

*sigh*

"Man why that sigh again?" Kiara pouted.

"Sorry." I looked down.

"You're in your daydream mode again. "

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah, seriously, what happened? After that night your mood really changed. You're not like yourself lately."

"Ah, it's nothing."

"No it's not nothing! I hate seeing you like this." She argued.

"I'm sorry Kiara. I think i'm going to skip lessons today."

"Skip? You've never ever skipped lessons before."

"Well, today is going to be the first."

"Well then, looks like i'm skipping lessons too."

"What? Don't you have a test today?"

"Screw that. I'm bound to fail it anyway." She crossed her arms.

"Plus if my bestfriend isn't ok, how can i leave her be." She added.

I smiled silently, I truly have an amazing bestfriend indeed.

We headed back to the dorm and i decided to take a nap. And god was that the worst nap i ever had.

The ocean waves were gentle and the orange sun just complimented the scenery. The breeze was light and it just so calm and peaceful sitting on the white soft sand and watching the sunset.

But it was then interrupted by a hoarse voice coming from behind me.

"Carmen."

My eyes darkened as i heard my name being called out.

I was afraid of turning around and facing my harsh reality. So i didn't.

But the voice kept calling out my name.
