PARS Academy:Sudden Turn

Chapter 4

Zephyrine's POV

This time it's between me and Astraea. Nasa gitna na siya at ako nalang ang hinihintay. Marami rin ang nanonood dahil kami na ang huli na maglalaban, it feels weird. Sanay naman akong maraming nakatingin sakin. It's just that I'm uneasy with Astraea. I don't even know her surname, or which family is she from. But just her name and aura alone terrifies me. But I am more confident. And I can see she's a little careless and I'm using it as my advantage.

I calmly walked feeling the air embrace me. I won't lose this fight.

I picked two daggers and she chose a spear. She already has a big advantage from me. She blankly started at me and waited for my attack. I held the dagger carefully and swiftly teleported behind her.

I almost stab her but she dodge my attack and kicked my left foot causing me to fall.

I tried stabbing her in the stomach but she stepped on my wrist causing me to groan. She pointed her spear on my neck. This went faster than I expected it to be. I stared at her directly in her eyes. What is that guilt that I see?

She seems distracted so I used that chance to stab her. At my surprise she didn't even dodge. I was too confused when I pull the dagger out. Agad kong nabitawan ang dagger na hawak ko ng bigla siyang umubo ng dugo. What have I done?

Agad ko siyang nilapitan pero sinipa niya ang paa ko at napadapa naman ako.Kinuha niya ang dagger sa sa uluhan ko at sinugatan ang pisngi ko. I couldn't help but to cry. It fucking hurts! Agad namang lumapit si Prof Hunter para pigilan si Astraea pero kusa ng umalis si Astraea. Parang gulat na gulat siya sa ginawa niya at itinaas ang white flag.

Napakunot ako ng noo. Did she just--How dare she?! Agad na nag-init ang ulo ko at sinabunutan siya. I teleported to the field and punch her causing her to fly to the other side.

'How dare you do that? What do you take me for?' I said ragging out. Naririnig ko na ang alarm ng relo ko. My heart reached its point again, but I don't even care now. I attacked her with my air spikes she dodge some of them but she was still hit.

I gathered all my energy left to make an air tornado. But before finishing it I passed out hearing my watch beeping non-stop, I lost icontrol of it...... again. I felt someone warm embrace that catched me before falling into a dark tunnel of dreams.

'Is she alright?'

'I checked her condition and it's her heart problem. She has a weak heart since she was a child and this happened a lot of time already. But the thing is as she gets older every attack would be deadly.'

'How can we treat this?'

'It would be impossible to treat her with potions even the medicine in the mortal world wont be a help. But this is only a myth and I'm not sure about this, but only a true love can fix her heart.'

'I'll set her wedding right away.'

'Its not like that. That wont be--'

'Shut up! We know what is better for our child.'

I slowly opened my eyes. 'Ok ka lang?' I recognize that voice, it's Serreia.'May masakit ba sayo? Tawagin ko ba ulit ang healer?' sabi niya at akmang lalabas na pero hinawakan ang kamay niya, I smiled at her.

Dahan dahan akong umupo at inalalayan naman ako ni Serreia, I sighed. Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko, ito nanaman.

'What did the healer say?' I asked Serreia, but instead of Serreia, Astraea answered, 'She said you need to rest. And your heart is a little bit weak.' sabi niya at binigyan ako ng tubig tinangap ko nalang iyon. Nakita ko rin si Thani na nakatingin sakin sa gilid.they're all here...not because they need something from me but because they care right?

'I'm sorry about earlier.' sabi ni Astraea at tumingin kung saan saan.'No its my fault, I'm so sorry.'

'Its everyone's fault kaya wag na kayo magsisihan.'sabi ni Serreia agad namang napairap si Thani. 'How is it also my fault? It's not like I stab Astraea or cause Zeph's heart problem.' sabi niya at inirapan si Serreia. Tinawanan nalang siya nito.

I'm glad that even if we aren't  really that connected, they still make me feel not alone. I smiled and stared at them fighting again. Ngayon tatlo na sila, I hope I can see this love everyday... yes, you heard it right, I can feel the growing love. Between them...between us.sana naman di nila ako iwan. And for the record they'll be my first friends in my life...if just if they would.

But anyways, enough with the dramas, 'Who catched me while falling?I felt a warm and comfortable embrace' I  asked, they all just looked at each other, 'We don't really know.' Serreia said ' But it is for sure soooo Handsome!' pahabol pa ni Serreia, well who ever you are then, Thank you.

'Your thanks are appreciated if he's here though' Astraea said...What?Mind reader?

'Yep' ok fine ?

'Aren't I cool?'napailing nalang ako pero deep inside napapangiti ako...it is so cool cause she conversed with me without me feeling the tension and bad auras.

'Teka tatawagin ko ang healer para malaman kung ano nang gagawin' Serreia said and went out the room, as she went out , we went silent.

I just realized , how little we know each other. Aside from name and main magic which are elements. If we could be powerful after this trainings , we can be the strongest teams in this academy. is that a sky high dream? I believe that nothing is impossible, so why not try?
I smiled at that thought,A few minutes passed,at  ang tagal ni Serreia .

As I was thinking for a proper introduction for us, Serreia entered the room , with so much energy ' YOWZ! Namiss niyo ba ako?!'

We didn't reply and just stared at her with the crickets singing. 'Obviously Serreia, HINDI.' Astraea said with so much emphasis on HINDI, but it just meant for another series of battle of words .

'Did the healer said anything?' I asked immediately to stop the burning battles. Serreia turned to me and said 'Pwede na rin naman daw, alam mo nadin daw yung risk about your health and things like that. So pwede ka na umalis.' with that I stood up and thanked them. We're not that close, yet here they are,even if Astraea may just be sorry, I thank her for being here.

I smiled at the thought this maybe a beautiful start of Friendship. 'Let's explore the whole campus? It may have been a week but, we haven't seen the whole academy yet.' Astraea said, tama nga naman. We started immedietly with classes the we've forgotten the thought of exploring. 'Wala na bang classes?' I asked 'Wala na kayo yung last diba? free time natin ngayon, let's go baby!' Serreia answered.

'Then let's go!' I said choosing my words for grace and elegance, pero my expression said different, I sounded so excited,mom would freak out I'm not classy and elegant as I should be. Tumango naman din sila sa sinabi ko .

'Is it fine with your health ?' Thani asked tumango lang din ako at lumabas na kami ng tuluyan sa clinic.
