Twenty-eight : elusive night of tears

Mark :

                    Autumn leaves

Just like all the beginnings end
She'd stitched his heart with pain
From the day he'd laid eyes on her
To that obtuse night of hurt
He loved her so, he'd love her more
Even without her loving back
The flowing lake they shared
Was overflilled with Autumn leaves
She was the one who understood
Before he could even himself
Her smile was tattooed in his heart
And he would never forget the way
She'd whispered, "let us go far away"
Without ever doing it
So he closed his eyes beside the river
And under the evening sun
That never lose it's color, he whispered
"Dear Skye, how can I forget you?"

Skye :

                       Another sky

Just like all the great poets
She missed someone so far away
From that kiss amid the fireworks
To that elusive night of tears
She loved him with her every part
With or without him
She wished he'd paint her another sky
Overflowing with clouds of happiness
He was the one who found her
Before she could even herself
His lips carried scent, so dear to her
That crazy green-eyed boy she missed
Who'd said, "I'll give you forever"
Without ever giving it
So she closed her eyes slowly
And the world dropped dead
While wearing his coat, she wrote :
"Dear Mark, will you ever come back?"
