Lucas laughed at Adam as he checked in at his usual time.

"Aw come on Adam, it can't be that bad."

"Bad? Boss it's a fucking nightmare! Fucking screaming brats and..."

Lucas was having trouble breathing as he laughed.

"What movie are you watching?"

"You know the gay kid... Keiran?"

"Yep. What about him?"

"Well they got here too early for the movie they decided to watch so Keiran suggested they watch an earlier movie to kill time."

"And the problem?"

"They all fucking agreed! It's some damn fucking disney cartoon with little kids screaming inside the theatre."he said roughly "Boss. I think I might quit."

Lucas  couldn't contain himself. For the first time in months he was finally laughing without forcing it and fuck it felt good.

"You can't quit over a movie Adam."

"Wanna fucking bet? If this happens again I'm fucking quitting!"

"You love kids Adam. Get over it."

"Yeh I love them but I'm beginning to think that old woman in that handsome gretel movie is right when she wants to boil them up and eat them. I'll even deliver some of the little suckers to her."

"Fuck Adam" Lucas gasped on a breath "stop. You arsehole..."

"Oh thank fuck."

"What?" Lucas asked as he tried to stretch out the painful stitch in his side.

"The movie's over and they're coming down the stairs now."

"Well, now you get to go and watch a...."

"TARA! Holy shit! Boss, call you back!"

"ADAM! WHAT THE..."

He was left holding a phone that sprouted nothing but a dial tone.

Jumping up quickly from his chair he grabbed his keys and ran out of the office.

"What's going on boss?"

Simeon was sitting with a couple of other men in the loungeroom as he ran through.

"Something's happened to Tara!"

The door slammed as he raced through and went to his car. Within seconds he was driving out the driveway.

His phone rang.

"What the fuck happened?"

"We're waiting for the ambulance boss. Tara was knocked down the stairs when we came out of the theatre" Jones explained quickly.

"Who fucking did it?"

"Just kids boss. Over excited and bouncing round."

Lucas took a deep breath trying to calm himself.

"Anyone else hurt?"

"Keiran tried to break her fall and it looks like his arm's dislocated."

Lucas growled.

"where the fuck were you?"

"I was behind her boss but like I said, the kids were over excited and she was already going over and we all tried to stop her."
