After Luke left, I was left alone on my couch again. This time thinking about what I had just done. I felt terrible. And I couldn't tell if it was from turning him down once again. It just wasn't logical to go with him. "Since when have you ever listened to your head Lia" Katie interrupted my thoughts. She was right. "Just do what you want to do. This boy has been your dream since you were a freshman. In high school" she added. She was 100% right. I thanked her as I ran to my room to shove as many things in my bag as I could.
As I made my way to the hotel, thoughts of the nights I spent alone, wanting to just settle because I didn't think I could have someone as good as Luke. I couldn't stand being lonely. Damn I got lucky. I pulled into the parking lot and ran to the hotel room where Luke had stayed. Praying that he would have gone back for some reason. I pounded on the door, desperately waiting for a reply on the other side. "Miss, did you get locked out of your room?" A housekeeper asked. "No, I just thought he would be here" I said, sounding slightly delusional but not caring. She left it at that and exited the hallway quickly. I slid down the door frame allowed the tears I had been holding back to fall. My chest was heavy and I had a dull ache in my stomach. After a few hysterical moments. I picked myself up along with my bags and walked back to my car. I was getting used to coming up short by now. As I made my way to my car. I noticed a tall blonde haired boy walking toward the entrance of the hotel. "Luke!" I yelled my heartbeat quickening. He noticed me and jogged in my direction. "Hey what are you doing here?"bHe asked pulling me into his arms. "I want to come with you". He smiled and pulled me up to kiss him. "Why did you come back?"
"I forgot my guitar" he explained. He ran inside and grabbed the instrument, then led me to the bus. The smell of Chinese food hit me when I stepped onto it. "Hey she showed" Michael yelled, running to hug me. "Your hair is green" I yelled surprised. Ashton and Calum made there way to join the embrace, making it more of a dog pile landing on Luke as I fell backward. "I thought you guys didn't like Chinese food?" I pointed at the white take out containers on the small counter. "Ashton said he wanted to make it in your memory" Calum explained bringing your bag to Luke's bunk. "I was at home not dead" I laughed.
