Chapter 10

Me: I left. I'm with Luke why?
Andy: you need to tell me exactly where you are right now lia.
Me: Andy. We haven't talked in a year why are you so weird all of a sudden?
Andy: he's bad news lia. Please just tell me where you are
I didn't want him. But when the only person you've ever loved suddenly begins to give a shit about you again. Feelings come back. My mind started racing and Andy texted me again.
Andy: please lia. I'm sorry for what went down between us just please tell me where you are.
Me: we just pulled onto the first rest stop on the highway. We're getting something to eat.
Andy; I'll be there.

We all ordered food while the bus's gas tank was filled up. I noticed Andys black jeep pull into the parking lot. "I'll be right back. I'm getting some air" I said to Luke as I made my way to his car. Andy jumped out of he vehicle and ran over to me. Pulling me into a hug. "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" He asked. He was being weird. Not the Andy I knew. "I didn't think it mattered we aren't exactly close ever since you dropped me a year ago" I said coldly. "Lia I am so sorry. I realize now that that was the worst decision I have ever made. I still love you" he took my face in his hands. My heart jumped at his words. "And I'm not letting you leave with this guy you just left because we have a history and I've proved that we are supposed to be together. So get in the car." His tone changed. "What? No" I said walking away from him. He wrapped his bony fingers around my wrist. "Lia get in the fucking car" it was like a switch went off and he was back to the way it was before. His eyes softened realizing that I wasn't going. "Please" he pleaded. Tears welling up in his eyes. He let go of my arm and pulled me back to his chest. Leaning down to kiss me. The familiar taste of his lips made me feel at home and I pulled away, walking toward the building. " I have to say goodbye" I said. "No Lia. You'll hurt the poor guy more just please come on" "I'm not sure Andy. You're being weird." I hesitated "get in the car Lia!" He yelled. I jumped and obeyed as he pushed me by my shoulder blade. "What the fuck andy?" I yelled growing angry. "Lia you know what I can fucking do, and will do in a heartbeat. Get in the car" I closed the passenger door behind me. Andy jumped in and drove quickly. we passed the entrance and I saw Luke walk out of the door. His eyes didn't leave mine as Andy sped away.

I didn't speak the whole way home. Andy dropped me off at my apartment and left me on my own. "What are you doing back?" Katie asked as I walked through the door. "Andy came and got me" I made my way to my room and shut the door behind me.
My phone vibrated.
