2. Hey you! , yes you!

That beginning in the hallway was just the beginning, after that, we often had moments between us that made my heart skip a beat like when I entered my class for the first time I found him sitting at the end, turned out that we had some same classes. During lectures, his presence was constantly on my mind and whenever I looked around to take his glimpse I found him already looking at me. Stopping me in the middle of my way just to say 'HI!' with that smirk. But then he did something that didn't just skip my heartbeat but almost made my heart come over.

"it's for the first time you are going to see a match in this school right?" asked Mia as we walked towards the basketball court.

"yes!"

"oh, girl... it's gonna be so fun..and when you see the hotties of our school drenched in sweat and aggression, trust me you are not gonna regret it" she said with absolute assurance in her voice.

Mia groaned as we entered the court because the front row of the seats was already full, we somehow managed to grab seats in the third row. I was listening to Mia's constant chatter about literally everyone on the court when the team entered the basketball court and on the forefront was Edward. His eyes went around the whole court and when he spotted me his eyes lit up and smiled with surprise on his face. The butterflies in my stomach began to wander the moment I saw him and the corners of my mouth turned up.

Mia was not at all wrong, guys were looking hot drenched in sweat and aggression especially Edward, the way every drop of sweat danced on every curve of the body made my throat gulp, and the way his eyes burned with the only desire to goal was difficult to ignore and the laudable look of victory when he finally won the match was worth living for.

All the team boys bounced on their toes, gave high-fives, and hugged each other on their win when Edward made his way out of the group. His eyes narrowed on me and he began walking in my direction, my chest rose and fell with every step he took, I still thought of the possibility that he was coming for someone ahead or behind me but that was not the case. He threaded his fingers through his chocolate brown hair and shouted "Hey you!" obviously he said it aloud so that I could hear it from the third row but almost everyone present there, heard it. Gradually every head turned towards me and I ....still trying to figure out what was happening pointed my finger at myself with a questioning look.

"yes ! you"

and now the whole court was looking at me like I was a walking zombie, especially the girls, they had their eyes blurted out in envy or jealousy but he had a pretty relaxed look on his face and he didn't even care that whatever he was doing was treat to everyone's eyes right now. I raised my brows in amazement.

 "you know what?!" he said.

"What?" I uttered in the same pitch after taking a sharp breath.

"you've got really pretty eyes, Hazel!"

Oh my god. Did he just compliment me in front of the whole school? Yes, he just did and this was the moment where my heart popped out. Everyone began hooting and clapping seeing this flattering moment. My body went numb and my eyes wide open while he just smirked wiping off sweat from his forehead. I drew in a long breath to intake the situation and I again did what I can't resist doing whenever I saw him, I smiled, I smiled with my teeth, and there at that moment everyone present witnessed the blush turning my face red all over and my smile made his cheeks turned pink. The way we looked at each other that moment, anyone would bet we'd fallen for each other.
