"Michael! Just tell me where the fxck Luke will have gone! Tell me right now!" Lily screamed into the phone, sobs racking her chest throughout her screams.

Michael's sobs echoed hers, he felt like it was all his fault. He blamed all this on himself. "I... I don't know, Lily, I'm sorry."

"You must have some idea, there has to be some clue! He can't just do this to himself without giving us a way to save him. He can't..." Lily couldn't continue, her cries were taking over her whole body. She held the phone away from her ear as the screams took hold of her, the screams of pain. She had held herself responsible for saving Luke, for making him okay. He expected her to help him, but she betrayed him. She wanted to make him all okay.

But what even was okay? Everyone's perception of the phrase 'I'm okay' or 'it's okay' is different. Everyone has different lives; some people have never experienced a traumatic event in their lives, but others experience these events every week, every day. So these different people must think 'okay' means different things. To some people 'okay' could mean just that they have survived through the day. But as so many people say correctly, surviving isn't living.

She heard faint shouts coming from the phone and slowly reached for it again, picking it up and holding it to her ear again.

"Lily!!" Voices screamed down the phone.

"I'm here." Lily muttered, silencing them.

"Okay, Lily, listen. My name's Ashton. I have an idea of where Luke could be. Go get in your car. You're closer to where it is than us, but we're going to try and get there with you." The unfamiliar voice let out a sigh, and then continued. Lily was silent. "If this is wrong, then... I don't even want to think about what will happen. Just, get in your car."

Lily ran down the stairs, slipping on some shoes and throwing herself into her car and speeding away from her house.

Following Ashton's directions, she made her way to the coast, a ten minute drive from her house.

"I'm here." She told the three boys on the other end of the phone line.

"Okay, just keep talking to us. You'll be on the edge of a wood-ish area. You are on the coast though, can you hear the sea?" Ashton asked.

Lily could hear the thunderous crashes of waves breaking on rocks, and the shriek of the hungry seagulls. "Yeah."

She looked into the clump of trees. They made the ground look black and dangerous. She didn't want to go anywhere near that wood, but if Luke was there and in danger, she would. She would do anything to keep him safe.

"Liz showed this place to us before she... before she died. And she said this was the place Luke always used to come when he was upset." Lily heard Calum's voice, and she sighed.

"Okay, I'm going in." Lily said, and slowly took step after step into the forest. Her heartbeat started racing. While her feet were walking, her heart was sprinting.

"Lily, just... make sure he doesn't hear you." Michael muttered so quietly that Lily almost didn't hear him.

"What do you-" suddenly Lily spotted Luke. This was the first time she was going to meet him, and she never would have imagined it like this.

Her phone dropped from her hand and onto a bed of leaves, muffling the sound.

Luke was standing right on the edge of the land. About twenty metres in front of her, he was staring down to the rocks and crashing sea below him.
