(haha, stranger things, amirite?)
Dona had woken up that morning to find herself pressed up against something? She wasn't entirely sure, but upon sitting up and immediately being pulled back down, she realized that she was still in the bed of Quigley Quagmire, and his arms were wrapped around her waist, tightly. Her cheeks burned red at the prospect of falling asleep in such a position, she was embarrassed to say the least. Hazy memories of the conversation from the night before haunted Dona. She wanted them both to forget that it had ever happened.
She peeled his arms off of her and slipped out from under the covers, choosing not to inform him of where she had found herself that morning. She combed her fingers roughly through her hair, not bothering to look in a mirror, it didn't matter to her anyhow. A loud yawn escaped her lips while she ambled down the staircase of the manor, directing herself toward the kitchen. She absentmindedly flicked on the light switch by the door with no avail, and actually laughed out loud at herself. God I need to get ahold of myself, she thought.
She continued to laugh at herself as she moved about the kitchen in search of something besides canned peaches to eat when her laughed became muffled. Her shoes squeaked on the floor before all went black in Donatella Snicket's eyes.

Dona's head was pounding, like she had been hit over the head with a pan, and god did it hurt. How long have I been out? A newspaper flew beside her, she picked it up examining the date, three days had passed! Dona sarcastically gasped, it was nothing she couldn't handle, if she could just figure out where she was! Her surroundings seemed damp, the air smelled cold and made her shiver, and but one stream of light came from above her.
Her head perked up at the sound of screaming and rumbling from above. She was in the tunnels! Where else could she be? Dust from the tunnels poured down and covered her, making her sneeze loudly. The dust had fallen due to a loud rumbling sound from above. Dona's eyes squinted in attempts to see through the gaps in the ground to see what was happening. Screams continued to be heard, seemingly growing closer, as well as the rumbling. She sat up from her position on the floor looking for a way out.
She ambled down the tunnels when she saw a gap in the earth she could squeeze through. She slid her head and torso through the gap, ignoring the ripping feeling from the jagged rocks on sides. A gust of cold wind blew in her face that also carried the screams from before. She pulled herself out of the hole when she saw a runaway caravan careening toward her. a face appeared out the side of the caravan screaming,"GET OUT OF THE WAY, MOVE!" A boy screamed, his face was covers in dirt and his hair was an entire mess. Dona had to act quickly. She ran and jumped onto the side of caravan in hopes of helping those inside the runaway vehicle. Gripping the edges of the roof she used her legs to break down the door.
It crashed to the floor and she saw two hysterical children about her age, one tying her long brunette hair up with a strip of fabric, similar to how Dona and her mother had done so many times with violet ribbons, while the boy screamed looking feverishly about the car. "Violet hurry! we're running out of road!" The boy screeched. "Search the caravan for anything long enough to reach the wheel!" Violet ordered. Neither child had really acknowledged her prescience through their hysterics.
Dona gripped two long wooden paddles against the wall and handed one of the boy,"How's this?" She asked, showing it to Violet,"Perfect, now use it jam the wheel! I'm gonna tie these together and create a drag chute" She exclaimed, jumping it take a sheet from the top of the caravan.
"Make it fast! This road won't stay straight forever!" The boy exclaimed,"I think I've got it, I just need to apply more friction!" Dona did as such while the boy did the same opposite her, sparks flying from the wheel. They had managed to slow it down slightly before both hers and the boys broke.
"Shit" She muttered under her breath, flipping the paddle around and jamming the wheel again.
"How's it going?" Violet questioned, briefly looking up from whatever she was making, Dona couldn't be sure.
Pulling his broken paddle from the window the boy looked over at Violet,"Not great."
"It's okay, you bought me time to make," Violet kicked open the door, letting the chute fly,"this."The chute flew out, no really slowing the caravan down. Dona's paddle finally broke again and she looked up from her position to the other kids. She stalked toward Violet gripping the glasses-clad boys sleeve, pulling him away from the window, and pushing them behind her,"Stay behind me and if we fall, don't let go" She screeched. They both nodded feverishly, cowering behind Dona's arms.
The chute whipped in the wind when everything slowed. Dona's heart pounded in her head. "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit" She repeated growing gradually louder, gripping the material of the kids shirts behind her. The screams of the three filled the air when it all stopped. Everything stopped in the eyes of those three children.
