Liam Payne is the best quarterback Johnson High School has ever seen. He has raw talent, and could even be drafted into the NFL straight out of college. And that would be perfect. Amazing really. If that's what he wanted.

Maddie is the shy girl in school. The one that gets pushed around because she's scared to stand up for herself. And even though she doesn't want to admit it, she has a crush on the school's toughest jock. But he doesn't even know she exists. He's too busy spending every ounce of his time working out, or practicing for the next big game. But deep down, she knows something's wrong with him. He doesn't ever seen truly happy. And she seems to be the only one who notices. If only he could actually see her the way she sees him.
