"Yeah we found this"

The boys had arrived back from their adventure in the maze, and weren't empty handed like Robyn expected. She was perched on the end of a bench in the homestead, staring at the object in Newt's hand.

He had a hold of a long metal 'tube' covered in slime or flesh of some kind. She noticed a light on the side, with a number.

"It came from a griever!" Thomas explained.

'That explains the slimy liquid. It's the juices of a griever' Robyn thought, shivering.

Newts fingers traced the letters at the side. Recognising them instantly, he told the group,

"These are the same letters that come on our supplies" His face turning into a frown.

"Whoever put us here, they must have made the grievers" Robyn suggested, thinking about the coincidence of it all.

Newt smiled in admiration. Deep down, he knew she was smart and could easily put two and two together. This just proved it.

She noticed him smiling and felt her cheeks burn up. To save herself from embarrassment, she put her head down.

"Right this is the first real clue you have found in three years, right Minho?" Thomas inched forward, his arms moving around.

It took a while for Minho to reply ,before swiftly agreeing and looking back at the boy in second-command.

Newt was still staring at the foreign object that he gripped tightly on. His gaze had moved slowly to Thomas.

Robyn fidgeted around on the bench awkwardly, waiting for someone to break the silence. Her wishes were soon made as the brunette boy resumed.

"Newt, we have to go back out there"  The boy begged,"We don't know where this might lead us!"

All the other gladers looked around at each other.

"I agree with Thomas." The girl said leaning back, her hands folding over her chest,"We have been given something that may help us find a way out of this place. Let's use it"

Some boys nodded, agreeing with Rob and Thomas. The others didn't disagree nor agree, just stood in silence.

Gally pushed off the pole he was leaning on, shooting glances at Robyn. She didn't really care what he thought about her, so she grinned back.

"You see what he's trying to do right!" his hands moving around ,"First he breaks our rules, with the help of little Robyn over there, and now he's trying to convince us to abandon them completely"

Robyn huffed loudly, her hands covering her face. After she rubbed her eyes and removed her hands, she noticed the attention was on her.

"Ignore me, It's fine carry on" She gestured.
