Chapter 40, I know, so late but my life has finally returned to some form of normalcy now that holidays are over so more writing lets hope!
Anyways, enjoy the chap, not much happens I have to say but we're getting to the juice guys so hold on for a little bit longer!
Listen to the song, it's Natalie Imbruglia, who is Australian (my neighbours, Hi!) and it's pretty good, was gonna choose wrong impression but I'll leave it for another time.

Someone starts to knock quietly on the door.
‘Come in.’ I say as I turn to face whoever it is.
Damien’s head peeked around the side of the door and I felt my heartbeat hitch a little.
‘Hey,’ he said meekly as his body slowly moved towards me.
It was like when we first met all over again, I felt my nervousness and awe the closer he got to me. It also meant I couldn’t breathe properly and that I wasn’t capable of speaking very well.
‘He-’ I tried saying hey but I could only manage the first two letters before Damien’s lips crashed on mine.
I felt the familiar heat explode between us and soon enough I was enjoying it all far too much again.
I pushed myself off him, both of us panting.
‘You really have to stop making me feel like that, it’s really annoying you know.’ I told him, holding my hand to my chest, willing my heart to stop going a hundred miles an hour.
Damien chuckled and tried to move closer but I took a step away from him. He eyed me suspiciously and I wondered what he was doing.
He surprised me by just shrugging his shoulders and walking away.
I took a few steps towards him shocked by his sudden departure.
Damien spun around so quickly and the next second he had scooped me into his arms and sat me on my desk. I sat wide eyed at him for the second time in how many minutes. His arms then placed themselves on either side of me, essentially trapping me in.
His gorgeous face was only inches away from mine, his cheeky smirk playing out on his lips, and his devilish chocolate eyes were screaming at me to look at them.
I felt my cheeks burn from the embarrassment and I couldn’t hide my nervous smile, the one that always seemed to pop out when Damien was around.
‘Can you stop avoiding me then?’
I rolled my eyes at him, ‘I can’t help myself, and you’re too gosh darn annoying!’ I told him, returning him a cheeky smirk.
