Ma finished her brekkie like a trooper and just when she had gone to jump in the shower Jules turned up with everything we needed for a girl's day in.

'Hey my baby, you got everything?' I asked and she nodded. I put the dishes in the dishwasher and quickly ran to the living room to suss it all out. She had dumped all of the contents of her bags out on the couch and I inspected it all.

There was chocolate, popcorn, chips, dip, lollies, microwave pizza, fizzy, and I managed to find a bottle of vodka hiding at the bottom. I pulled it up and gave Jules a questioning glare. She shrugged her shoulders and merely said, 'for drowning her sorrows.' I let it slide and then grabbed another bag and saw that she had brought all of our favourite DVDs.

My Fair Lady, The Dark Crystal, Pan's Labyrinth, Pride and Prejudice, The Princess Bride, and she had to get the one I hated to watch the most; Dreamcatcher. I suppose it was so she and Ma could have a good laugh at me cowering like a fool in the corner and pretending that I wasn't really scared out of my mind. They always do that. So unfair.

Jules and I set the living room up while Ma was in the shower. We pushed the couches back and got the spare mattresses from the closet and all the pillows and blankets out aswell. We closed the curtains and strategically placed the food where we would all be sitting. Popcorn next to me, lollies next to Jules, and the chocolate was in the middle with Ma. Jules also brought orange juice to drink with the vodka and I groaned with the terrible memories that came flooding back from a night a few weeks ago when I got completely plastered off my tree and done the hammer dance. That was also the night I met Damien so it kind of made me feel a little better until I remembered that I said some pretty stupid things to him while I was under the influence. That just made me groan even more.

I could see Jules sniggering out of the corner of my eye and I gave her a slap as I walked past to put our first DVD on. I always chose first, then Ma, then Jules. We have set rules when we do things at each others houses. If we do it at Jules I get last pick, Ma first and Jules second. Then when its at mine its usually an argument with the boys because whenever we do a girls night at mine they always seem to turn up and decide they wanna join in. and of course all they wanna watch are all the stupidest movies on earth. Like one time Adam got out couples retreat, and I'm pretty sure I've never heard so much dialogue in my life. He made us all watch it and if he spotted anyone nodding off he slapped us in the face.

When Ma finally came down the stairs we were ready and waiting. She wasn't the least bit shocked as she probably knew this would happen. She jumped in the middle while Jules handed her a drink and I started Pride and Prejudice.

I was totally engrossed in the movie, (what can I say? I love Jane Austen, one of my favourite authors) but Ma and Jules weren't as much. I noticed they were drinking the vodka a little fast and I knew that by the end of the movie they might be a little tipsy.

Sure enough when I was crying my eyes out when Mr. Bingley proposed to Jane Ma and Jules were crying because they both smashed their heads together when they bent down to grab a bag of chips.

I could tell the girls were in a very happy mood and before the credits had even rolled Jules got up and plugged her iPod into the stereo and starting playing music. I groaned at her obvious choice of music (Eenie Meenie - Justin Bieber? Like seriously?) And both of them got up and started dancing their little hearts out.
