Chapter 17 - Baby .

  " Mom ! " Grey was freacking out , he was affraid to lose her again .

" Move apart .." We stood up and gave Ian a little space , he checked her pulse , she was breathing . Then he took off the blanket and raised her dress allowing her skinny thighs to show , I didn't know what was he doing .

She was bleeding , her underwear was soaked in her blood . I was so scared to see  , he again covered her legs quickly .

" Everyone out .. Now ! get out . "

I didnt want to leave her alone , part of me felt like Im seeing her for the last time .

Cassandra and Unt Laura rushed outside while Grey and I stood still , Mr Andrew forced both of us out while Ian was looking for something in his medical bag .

Mr Andrew got inside and closed the door . It felt ten thousands times worst , being able to see her sick than being on the blind side and not knowing what was happening to her .

" Her bleeding will go from light to heavy and she has a fever , we have no time to use Misoprostol . And obviously we cant wait for the spontaneous expulsion ." Ian's voice were barely heard from inside the closed room .

" What do we do ?" Mr Andrew was lost .

" She needs a surgery .. as soon as possible ..Now  actually ." Unt Laura held her hand to her mouth as if to stop her self from making any noise . Grey's face went pale , like someone's who just saw a ghost.

The feeling I had earlier about seeing her for the last time got the best of me , and dark thoughts occupied my mind . How can she make it ! And was it even possible for Ian to do her surgery succesfully ? What if she die .. I will never forgive myself for my behaviour earlier . I couldnt stand this whole situation , it was so unfair , we just wanted to have our normal life back .. I've had enough from this chaos and if the world was going to end then let it be , we shall all die happily because we've allready lost all the loved once that we used to live for .

The door was slamed wide open waking me from my thought , Mr Andrew ran to the kitchen .. he was looking for something .

I took a glance at where my mom was laying earlier .. she was still there , wide awake . Ian was talking to her assuring her that everything will be okey , tears were falling down her cheeks , I knew my mother .. she wasnt crying because she was in pain . Something else was happening to her , something that I didn't know then .

" God damn it ! Where is it .. " Mr Andrew was losing his temper , he broke couple of glaces making a noise in the kitchen .

" In the Fridge .. " Ian called leaving my mother's hand .

He found what was he looking for and quickly got inside closing the door again .

Seeing her alife and awake did not make me feel better , I was still worried she might not get through it .

" Here's the Anaesthesia . " Mr Andrew's voice said quitely then no sound was heard from inside the closed room .

I knew for a fact that any surgery would require Anaesthesia yet the sound of it made my heart beat faster . I was affraid the surgery might end up badly and something  would happen to my mother , or to the baby .

Couple of hours felt like a one hundred years , Mr Andrew left the room three times meanwhile , he went running to the kitchen and bringing supplies Ian had asked for . We tried to ask him what was happening and if mom was okey but he didnt had the time to answer and he just egnored us.

Ian appeared stepping outside the room at last . My heart stopped beating and so everyone's else , I wanted him to tell us what happened but part of me wished to never know . I was affraid to know  .

" She's fine .. " He sighed wiping his sweat off his forehead , he looked exhausted .

My heart beats finally went back to the normal , Thank God she was okey ..

I knew that my mom was alife and she was fine, yet I wasnt relieved yet .. something in Ian's eyes couldnt let me be , he had more to say and he was holding it back .

" What is it ? " I asked trying my best not to fall apart .

" She lost the baby ."
