Chapter five : Enemies .

" you fucking asshole ! " Grey yelled at Mr Andrew punching him right through his face , there was two other men standing behind . The three of them along with Mr Andrew were armed . The bold man from earlier stepped forward and took my brother's fragile figure into his arms , dragging him away from Mr Andrew .

As my brother tried his best to set himself free , I stood there with wild emotions runing through my body . Mr Andrew held his jaw with his palm trying to break the pain away .

Grey finally gave up , I could see his weakness in his eyes . He couldnt do anything about it .. neither could I .

" Listen kids , I am on your side .. " Said Mr Andrew as he lowered his pistol and asked the bold man to set Grey free . " you may think that I just killed your father , but he wasnt .. " he tried to convince us that what he did was actually in our favour . Like I can ever beleive that monster again . " Emma , cant you see ! He was about to eat the two of you . He .. he had lost himself , he was nothing but a lifeless figure . "

I kept staring at the lying cold corpse of my beloved father , how he always loved me best and how he always made a joke out of himself to make me laugh whenever I feel down . The time and place were frozen . The trees I felt, cried along with me as the winds blew hard and cold .

Mr Andrew's hand settled upon my shoulder waking me up from my misery .

" Stay the hell away from me ! " I insisted on every word I said . The tiny rock I picked up earlier was still in my hand , I knew this wasnt going to hurt him much , but at least it would make me feel a bit better .

I held the rock up and threw it at his face , before he could move it hit his left eyebrow and it started bleeding instantly .

How you like that you piece of shit .

" Aww you idiot ! " he cried at me and under the fainting light of moon I could see him wiping the blood away from his eye .

I tried to pick a bigger rock , then we heard the honking of cars , it was so loud . The silence that filled the woods earlier had disappeared and loud voices of screaming were heard from not far away . I felt so scared , I ran to my brother and held his hand , he too was affraid .

" Turn it off ! . " the other guy took my flashlight and turned it off . For a long period of time we stood there in the darkness , the five of us not moving a thing .

Crying for help , then screaming .. more honking of cars , these noises were frightening.

After a while it all was so quiet again , yet still none of us said a word or moved a muscle .
As to made sure we were perfectly safe and who ever they were had gone away .

" Damn ! They got them .. " The third Guy punched the air letting his anger out, as Mr Andrew lit his flashlight on us to make sure we were still there .
" They all were doomed anyway .. " ansewered the bold man , and blew under his nose.

I felt it to be the right moment for us to run away , I turned to Grey and whispered in his ear ." We should run .. do not stop what ever it might cost us ! Do Not Stop ." He nodded .

" Mrs Peril is waiting for you .. " My heart jumped hearing my mother's name .

I turned to Mr Andrew , he was quiet for a while then he broke the silence . " I am not expecting you to believe me , and I know this whole thing is so much for you to understand . We'll explain everything later , but now we have to go .. we are not safe in here ."

I would never in a million year believe anything this man would say , the thought of him shoting my father dead made me want to murder him.

Grey dragged my hand and turned around walking away from him .

The other two men blocked our way standing still in front of us .

" What do you want from us ! ." My brother yelled at them , he too couldnt take it anymore . They didnt answer .

" Look .. " Mr Andrew stepped forward , a diamond neckless shone under his flashlight . My mother's neckless .

" What have you done to her ! " I asked taking the neckless from his hand . I did not want to think that he had killed my mother too , but the thought was stuck in my brain .

" She is fine .. she is in charge of Section one , the cabin where we were hiding have been found and destroyed by the governement. We found that out when we went back for you . Mrs Peril thought that you have been taken by the agents . But we had to look for you ,so we were devided into two groups . Your mother knew you wouldnt trust me so she gave me the neckless and aksed me to show it to you ..." . The heavy boosteps that we have been runing from the last eight days made Mr Andrew and the rest of us jump from fear . He turned his flashlight off .

" We have to go ! NOW ! " he whispered as he pushed both Grey and I forward .

We kept runing through the darkness , this is all wrong . We were running from enemies along with other enemies .

We reached the highway after a while . I stopped to catch my breath , I could see a car in the other side of the road . It was Mr Andrew's .

The five of us got into the car quickly , Mr Andrew was driving while the bold man took the passenger seat beside him . I took the window seat beside my brother who sat between me and the third guy .

The car moved along the way . I tried my best not to think of the scattered skull of my father , I miss him allready .

I kept my eyes on the roadside as the car moved past the tree line .

" Eyes on the floor my girl , eyes on the floor ." The bold man was talking to me .

I nearly threw up when a row of carcasses appeared under the shining moon light on the side of the road . It was a bloody mess .

I burried my head deep into my brother's chest , as tears fell down my cheeks.
