CHAPTER:8

I'm inside my office when I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in" I shouted. Then kuya popped out.

"Mick hindi ka pa ba uuwi??" Kuya asked. Nasa office pa kasi ako kahit late na.

"Not yet kuya. Tatapusin ko pa muna tong presentation ko for tomorrow." I answer but my eyes is still glued im my laptop. Ako kasi ang nag mamanage ng stocks and kailangan ng weekly report of sales sa board members. Since we own one of the biggest international appliances company but now obviously the sales is decreasing

"Ok,you take care. By the way your daugther chatted me you should check your email." He reminded for almost nth time for this day only.

"Yeah kuya I will." Then I smile at him. How I miss my baby. It's been a week since I see her through video call palagi nalang email dahil hindi nga nagmamatch ang oras namin.

"Mick?" Then he sat in front of the table as in sa ibabaw pa talaga ng table pero inusog nya naman yung mga papel kaya ok lang.

"Anything else kuya?"

"Nakita ko yung letter from Celestine's National so nag-apply ka?" Ah about yun sa school na gusto ko magturo sayang naman yung degree kung hindi ko magagamit eh.

"Yeah subtitute lang naman since 2 months nalang tapos na ang school year staka for experience na rin."

"Yeah 2 months..." He said in a playful tune.

"Why?" I ask then I raised my right eyebrow because, I know he's trying to tell me something.

"Don't you think it's time para makipag-merge? Syempre magwowork ka na as a subtitute teacher at ang baby Georgina natin ay pauwi na." Suggestion ni kuya at talagang nag taas baba pa ng kilay.

"No kuya, I still have three days before I work in Celestine's and I will make sure that in three days the company's sale will increase. And about baby Georgina walang siyang dapat uwian dahil sa New York ang tahanan niya. Are we clear Mr.Rosales?" Then I formally smiled at him. Ayokong sabayan ng init ng ulo ang mga suggestion niyang hindi umaayon sa akin, sa amin.

"I still own this company and I'm willing to do everything to save our business"he formally answer.

"Don't worry kuya I'm prepared" then I wink on him.

"That's good. Anyway about Celestine's National is it permanent or temporary?" He ask.

"Ofcourse its temporary, grade 5 pupils ang tuturuan ko. Actually magiging subtitute adviser ako ng star section ng grade 5 since magleleave ang adviser nila dahil manganganak na ito."

"That's nice. Gotta go I'll leave my keys kung abutin ka man ng antok dun ka nalang matulog sa office ko, lahat ng kailangan mo ay nandun incase na dito ka nga talaga matulog papadalhan nalang kita ng damit kay Bel."then tumayo na siya sabay lapag ng susi sa gilid ng table.

"Ok salamat "pagtingin ko nakatalikod na siya sa akin at hawak na ang door knob.

"Your welcome. Your email darling dont forget" then he shut the door.

Almost 10 o'clock in the evening na rin ng matapos ako kaya I went straight to kuya's office with my laptop. Tama nga si kuya, lahat ng kailangan ko ay nandito. May mini ref with stock of foods,stove then a sofa bed sa gilid. I end up cooking hotdog at dahil gabi na rin pinalaman ko nalang ito sa tinapay. While eating i open my private accout to check out my social media.
