The Consequences

CHAPTER 7:

Hay ang hirap ng buhay maganda, pinagtitinginan ka. Haha pasensya na,, mahangin lang talaga. Nandito ako sa mall because I'm shopping for my office attire, tomorrow na kasi yon eh.

*Mommy i'm calling pick it up....* that's my ringtone for baby Georgina

I recorded her voice. I look for a place where i can completely hear and understand my baby. Nakakatuwa lang dahil may narinig akong nagsabi na liar daw ako and I take that as a compliment kasi ang next line nya ay hindi naman daw ako mukhang mommy.

"Hi mommy" she said as i press the answer button. I can hear her sobbing in the other line kaya nag-alala ako.

"Oh baby why are you crying?" I ask worriedly.

"Tita Oli please" she said and  she is with Oli

"Mick still there?" Oli said and Im getting more worried.

"Yes Oli, what's happening to baby Georgina? Im getting worried and I swear I will immediately fly there."

"Mick relax ok. Like mother like daughter talaga kayo ni baby Georgina anyway, remember what you have promise to your daughter before you go there?" She asked and I think I'm getting her point.

"That she will be transferring here if she won in 'Kids Greatest Singer' and become the top of their class?" The contest was their school activity but even she will not won, i will be very proud of her. She wanted to be with me kasi but I want to settle things here before she live with me.

"So you mean...?" I ask as if Im not sure but definitely I am.

"Yeah and don't you ever dissapoint your child Mick. IM WARNING YOU..." Im sorry Oli but not now di ko pa nga siya nakikita eh. Gusto kong sabihin sa kanya but I know masesermonan ako sa phone non pag narinig nya yan as my alibi.

"Oli calm down I won't do that,but let me talk to my child first. Is she calm now?"

"Ok whatever you say. Just wait I'll hand it to her" she said then I heard their conversation.

"Baby don't cry na ok your mom want to talk to you if you keep on sobbing she will not understand you and she will not get what your trying to say and if that happen you can't come with her. Do want it to happen?"
"No tita"
"Good girl"

"Mom.." She said finally in the line. And I think she's trying her best to avoid sobbing.

"Baby are you calm now? I miss you "

"The closest thing i can manage mom. I miss you too, so much" awww ang talino talaga ng baby girl ko parang di six years old ang kausap ko.

"Diba baby I promise na you will go here so we can be together right?"

"Yes mom, I will now see daddy po diba? You promised me" Sinabi ko kasi sa kanya na i will  introduce her to her father no matter what.

"Yess baby, I know and mommy won't break my promise. I'm not yet talking to daddy so can mommy make a request?"

"Sure mom. What is it?"

"Can you wait a little longer just give me enough time and I promise that if everything is settle I will fetch you there." I know she'll understand.
