The Consequences

CHAPTER 6:

Hay grabe ang init talaga sa Pinas. Kakababa ko lang mula sa plane ko.

"Mick i'm here.!!"i heard a girly voice shout and when I look towards its direction I saw a hand waving at me. It was ate Bel, kuya's wife.

"I miss you ate Bel. Where's kuya?" I asked after I kissed her.

"Urgent meeting alam mo na. At kilala mo naman siguro ang kuya mo hindi yun marunong maghintay."sabi ni ate.

Wala naman kaming napag-usapang importante. Pinanuod lang namin yung video ng performance na aking baby Georgina. Hinintay ko munang matapos yung program nya then two days after I already get my flight. Pag dating ko sa house nila natulog muna ko then pagkagising ko dinner na. Pero wala pa rin si kuya.

"Yow Mick how was baby Georgina?"biglang dating ni kuya habang nagkwekwentuhan kami ni Ate Bel sa sala.

"Wow kuya I miss you too. Di man lang ako kinamusta." With so much sarcasm in it.

Kakatapos lang kasi naming mag-dinner,yung 2 princess nila nasa taas na nag-aaral at yung king nila ay pumunta muna sa Mall dahil monthsary nila ng girlfriend nya at balak nyang mag-set ng romatic date. At ang kanilang twin ay natutulog na sa crib nila. 4 months palang ang new babies nila kaya kasa-kasama nila ito sa room nila. Na-shock naman ako kina kuya kasi pagtingin ko kulang nalang kainin nya yung mukha ni ate Bel.

"Hoy kuya nakaka-lima ka na wag mo sabihing balak nyo pang sundan yan" sabi ko sa kanya pagkatapos ko syang hampasin sa braso. Inis na inis naman ang mukha ni kuya ng tumingin sya sakin.

"Hoy Mick kung naiinggit ka padamihin mo rin yung sayo staka mag-asawa kami noh. It's normal. Masyado kang pa-virgin effect eh. Kung gusto mo manghila ka nalang ng lalaki, marami dyan." gosh.!! Mukhang namasama ni kuya yung nasabi ko. Pero grabe naman yung rebutt niya sa akin.

"I'm sorry kuya. Hindi ako pa-virgin effect hindi ko naman alam na mamasamain mo pala yung biro ko." sabi ko sabay tayo at punta sa guest room kung saan ako nagsstay.

"Baby Mick wait" I heard kuya call me but I think ate Bel stop him. Dahil wala naman akong narinig na pag-katok after I lock the door. Hay grabe kapagod tong day na to. Kailangan kong mag-shower but before that i text my baby first i know she's in school as of this time.

After taking the shower I decided to sleep so I wear a nighties but not that revealing when I heard a knock.

"Mick are you still awake?" It was ate Bel. So I immediately open the door.

"Yes ate?" I smile as if nothing bad happened earlier.

"Can we talk inside?"

"Sure, what is it all about?" I ask as she sat at the couch and I sat at the bed.

"Your kuya didn't mean anything in what he said. Its just that he was so stress this pat few weeks kaya mabilis uminit ang ulo niya at kung ano-ano ang nasasabi."

"It's ok ate. Ako yung may mali kasi alam kong pagod na si kuya, kaya I understand."

"No Mick you'll never understand especially when you're not in the situation. You can't base your decisions in life with other's experience. Try to explore maybe the things that aren't for you yesterday will be yours tomorrow." Is she trying to imply something?

"I wish so ate" i said as i smile.

"Milo is in the garden he wants to talk to you. Paano punta na ko sa room namin,walang kasama yung kambal. Good night."

"Sweet dreams ate Bel" i said as she pinch my cheek.

Hindi ko alam kung para saan ito pero kinabahan ako nang sabihin sa akin ni Ate na gusto akong makausap ni kuya.

But then i decided to go in the garden so I grab my robe.

As I step in the garden and a cold wind touches mine then I saw kuya in their bench having a cup of coffee.

"Hi kuya it's late ah. Why are you still outside?" I asked as I sit in front of him.

"Same as you Mick.." He grin as he sip his coffee. Wala pa rin talagang pagbabago kahit kailan si kuya, antipatiko pa rin.

After what he said naalala ko yung mga binitawan nyang salita kanina. And the atmosphere now is very akward. I think I should leave dahil mukhang wala namang balak magsalita si kuya. Tatayo palang sana ako nang magsalita na siya ulit

"Mick yung tungkol sa sinabi ko kanina---"

"I understand kuya alam ko namang di mo sinasadya eh. And beside you who I really am, so I know you won't judge me that harsh." I said and smile to him.

"I'am really sorry about that baby Mick." Then he patted my head like a child. He's now smiling but there's still guilt in his eyes.

"Kuya wag ka nga ma-guilty all your words a while ago was still in my mind but not stuck in my heart because??" I happily beam because i for sure kuya knows the next line.

"You use your brain to analyze and understand than conclude without analyzing and getting hurt" Kuya said.

"You still memorize it huh?"

"Ofcourse even its been a long time since I heard it from you. I just hope na mas gamitin mo yan ngayon." Kuya said.

"What do you mean kuya?" Iasked because I know his trying to imply something.

"Better find it out yourself. By the way ang tagal mong dumating kanina ha sabi ko kasi sayo gamitin mo na yung private jet eh" change topic.

"I don't want to disturd mom and dad you know that they always use the jet wherever they travel." Mom and dad are now making the rest of their lives memorable.

"Mick you have a week to prepare your self." Kuya said while looking intently to me.

"What are you trying to say kuya? Our topics are getting complicated kanina mo pa nililihis yung mga usapan natin. Are you planning something that I don't know?" I cluelessly asked.

"Im just making the plot but the destiny will do the rest." Whatever it is I know I won't like his plot.

"I'm warning you don't play with me." I said in an angry tone.

"Mick relax ok Im not doing anything. Yet?" What the heck nangaasar pa talaga sya ah.

"Kuya naman eh stop making me fool. Pinauwi mo ko sa Pilipinas para paglaruan? Ano ito, gaguhan?" Hindi na nakakatywa yung mga sinasabi ni Kuya, I know he's up for something.

"Mick relax ok? Wala akong ginagawa ok? But you'll be working in the company a week after, that's what I'm trying to tell you."

"What's with the plot thing?" I asked.

"Stop thinking too much Mick you better take a rest and enjoy the rest of the week" then he kiss my temple.

"Sleep ok? Good night" then he go inside. Magtatanong pa sana ako pero basta niya nalang ako iniwan dito sa labas, after a few minutes I also get in.

Im not convinced with kuya's answer because I feel something weird.

I know kuya a lot. Daig niya pa ang tadhana para syang utak ng tadhana.

Sana lang talaga maging handa ako sa haharapin ko. At sana lang hindi ako panghinaan ng loob..
