The Consequences

CHAPTER 4:

"Baby dont cry mommy will clean you up na.."

"Uwwaaaaa Uwaaa uwaa" natutuwa talaga ako sa baby ko ang cute cute nya umiyak pinapaliguan ko kasi sya eh..

"Mick do you need help?" I saw my mom standing beside the door

"No need mom, i can manage" i said while smiling happily. Then i carry my baby angel medyo tumatahan na siya. Kasi fresh na ulit ang pakiramdam niya. My mom is still standing beside the door so i walk towards her.

"Mom I'll bring her to garden alam mo na papaaraw lang para healthy ang ating baby" i said

"Go ahead darling I will follow after I sanitize the room" mom said

"Mommy you dont have to do that i can manage it and beside we can ask that to our maid" nakakahiya naman kasi kay mommy kung siya pa yung papakilusin ko sa mga baby stuff ng aking angel.

"Sige na bumaba na kayo susunod nalang ako" mommy didnt wait for my word. She already entered our room and start cleaning. So, I just obey.

I carefully carry baby Angel then face her back in the sunlight. In the past three months halos lahat na ng activity ng baby ko kabisado ko na. Everyday routine ko na nga to eh.

"Ano baby may energy ka pa ba?" Pagtingin ko si mommy pala.

"Oo naman po mom. She's like my vitamins, I'm always energize  whenever I'm with her" I said as we walk around.

Pagkatapos ko kasi siyang pa-arawan we will walk around the garden then later on tulog na siya ulit. Sabi ni mommy ganoon daw talaga kapag baby, matakaw sa tulog.

"Nak lets go upstair na?tulog na si baby Angel" Mommy ask

"Sige po"as he guided me towards the house kasi nga diba nasa garden kami.

"Good Morning  Everyone!!!!!!"a loud voice echoed in the house.

"Uwaaa Uwaa" hala nagising ang baby ko.

"Nakakainis ka naman Arnold eh. Can't you see she's sleeping! Look what you've done" i said in a very angry voice as I go upstair, my baby is still crying.

"Mick I'm sorry I didn't see" bahala siya sa buhay niya.

"Dont follow her Arnord. Let her freshen up."thats the last word i heard before i close the room of our door.

Buti nalang napatahan ko agad ang aking baby. Hay grabe kasisimula palang ng araw ko but I feel so tired already. But, I think kailangan ko nang masanay because its how parents live or rather a parent live.

"Mick kumain ka muna at maligo, ako muna bahala kay baby Angel" mom said as she enter the room.

"Uhmmm mommy pwede later nalang busog na ko kakatingin kay baby eh" I said.

"Baby you need to eat. Staka payagan mo naman akong maka-bonding ang aking grand child. Im almost three months here pero di mo man lang pinahawak ang baby mo sa amin, wala tuloy kaming quality time nitong maganda kong apo." nakakalokong sabi ni mommy tapos biglang nag-pout hahaha cute. So i let her.

Months have passed at simula ng araw na nasigawan ko si Arnold ay di na ulit siya bumalik dito sa bahay. Nag-sorry na naman ako eh. Bahala na sya kung tatanggapin niya.

"Up, down,up,down baby up down up down" I sing while she's jumping on my lap. Oh gulat kayo noh hehe nakaalalay ako syempre ,may  morning exercise kasi ang baby ko para maging strong ang bones niya.

Bigla naman siyang pumalakpak,kaya i change the song.

"Clap your hands clap your hands clap your hands clap your hands" I sing while she's smiling and putting her hands together.

My life would be very boring and useless without her. There are person that even they don't talk, they can make your life meaningful and colorful. And for me that is my baby Angel.

"Ma'am maglilinis po kami ng garden. I think you should go inside po" sabi nung maid. Buti nga kahit papano kinakausap ako nyan eh. Wala na nga kasi akong nakakusap na matino dito since bumalik na sa Philippines si mommy two weeks ago dahil kailangan na ni daddy ng katuwang. I just nod kasi mukha namang ilang din sya sa akin, that's why the atmosphere is really awkward. Nang makapasok ako sa bahay nakita ko yung main gate. Sa tagal ko nag-stay dito ni minsan di pa ako nakalabas palagi lang ako sa garden. Kinuha ko yung stroller ng aking baby staka naglakad palabas.

"Ma'am mapapagalitan po kami ng daddy nyo pag lumabas kayo"sabi nung driver na nakasalubong ko. Puro Pilipino kasi ang mga helper namin dito kaya di naman super pressure ang aking pag-eenglish

"Hindi po yan akong bahala ka kay daddy. Staka malaki na po ako babalik din naman po ako agad" then I passed over him

Wow may park pala dito eh. Mga eight houses away mula sa bahay. Its a children's park pero may mga bench. Yung mga bata nasa playground na pinaka-center tapos may mga nag-eexcercise like jogging at mayroong kagaya ko na with their babies. After i roamed around the park with my baby I seat in the vacant bench then I carry my baby. A girl seat in the other side of the bench. I think she's half filipina couz her hair was black yet her skin was like a raddish. She smiled at me so i smiled back.

"Hi, newbie?"she ask

"Not really, but it's my first time here" I answer back.

"I know because you took my favorite spot" she said wow ang sungit ah bilin ko tong park na to eh.

"Don't worry we're leaving" I said as I stand up.

"Hey don't leave that easy, take a sit" she said so I did. Uto-uto? I dont think so, there something in her and I think magkakasundo kami.

"Olivia. Oli for short" she introduce

"Mickyel. Mick for short" i also introduce.

"Is she your baby?" I nodded. "She's very beautiful" then she touch the cheek of my baby.

"Oh how cute she smiled at me. Can i carry her?" I just nod and handed my baby to her.

"How months old?" She ask

"She's just 11 months" I answer back

"I wish my baby was alive" she suddenly burst and she become teary eye. And she tell me what happened to her baby

"Im sorry" thats all I can say after hearing her story.

"Its ok ano ka ba wala ka namang kasalanan dun" then she laugh. Im still shock because of what happened with her baby at muli nanaman akong nagulat dahil nagsalita sya ng Pilipino.

"Hey dont be too amaze Pilipino din naman ako noh"  she said while still laughing.

"But you look like a foreignay.." A Foreigner with Pinay blood  I stated then she handed my baby back to me. Then she just smile at me.

"Friends?" she offer her hands.

"Of course" then I took it. Hay salamat may matinong tao na rin akong makakausap. Nang biglang sumulpot sa harap ko ang isa sa mga guard namin.

"Ma'am tumawag po ang kuya nyo kailangan nyo na pong umuwi dahil baka masisante nya na po kami" sabi ng isa sa mga guard na tila pagod na pagod. Protective Kuya Alert siguro kanina pa tong mga to naghahanap. So I face Oli.

"Its really nice to have a chit chat with you but we have to go"

"Same here. Hope to see you around."

"Got to go, bye" I said and left her. Para naman akong nabuhayan ng loob dahil pakiramdam ko ay nagkaroon ulit ako ng bagong kaibigan.
