I was surprised to see a tired Bakugo standing in front of the alleyway right beside my house, peering down it with puffy, squinting eyes.
"Baku?! What are you doing here?" I hollered.
"I'm walking you to school. Your neighborhood seems sketchy and . . . it . . . would bring the morale of the class down if your stupid ass was kidnapped or something." He said gruffly.
I looked up and down my street. The street itself was lined with cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
The houses weren't huge, but they weren't dinky either. Every house was a different color pastel, though they all had beautiful gardens in the front yard.
The only people out were a few young children running to catch the school bus and a petite old lady tending to her flowers.
"Sure, Baku. Super sketch," I laughed, running out to meet him.
"Hey, your tie is super crooked," I noticed, adjusting it myself.
"T-Thanks," Bakugo mumbled.
Looking him up and down, I realized he was overall extra scruffy today.
His shoes were untied, his hair was even spikier and wilder than usual, and one of his cheeks was riddled with pillow creases.
(giving very much sleepy pomeranian)

"Jeez, you look awful, dude," I remarked bluntly.
"Yeah, I had a rough sleep last night. Lots of intense dreams," he said, shuffling along as we began walking.
"About what?"
Pink dusted his cheeks.
"Um . . . can't remember."
"Hm. Oh! I know what kept me up," I remembered. "We were on the news!"
"Really?"
"Yeah! Well, technically, the U.S.J. attack was on the news, but we got plenty of air time!"
"Heh," he chuckled, "that's cool."

We arrived at the huge classroom door right on time.
I swung the door open and motioned for Baku to go through first.
"Ladies first!" I said, flashing him a cheesy smile.
He snarled, reluctantly accepting my offer.
Everyone chattered amongst themselves, getting settled and ready for the day.
"Attention! Class is about to begin! Everyone stop talking and take a seat!"
Iida had rushed into the room with great seriousness. It seemed no one else shared his urgency.
