TW: Attempted suicide. Please take care!
Before I start I know there's some inconsistencies in the story. I changed the plot a little so that's why. Basically Izuku was extremely depressed even after his dad (aka shit stain) left. He was bullied at school a lot, not by Bakugo though. Bakugo wasn't particularly nice but he didn't go out of his way to bully Izuku. However, he said one thing that really hurt Izuku, because he was the only one that never said it to him. So yeah. Bakugo was trying to joke but it obviously turned out horribly. Their relationship changed after this and Inko's death though. Explanation over.
~Flashback~
Bakugo froze, watching the boy tumble off the roof. His whole body told him to move but he just couldn't.
Izuku neared the ground when he felt a band or scarf of some sort wrap around him.
"Kid, what the hell are you doing." Eraserhead asked the boy. 'The young boy, why was he so young. What happened?'
"Can I just go home? Please don't tell my mom about this." He responded quietly.
"Well I have to tell your mo-"
The boy broke off into a dead sprint, a surprisingly fast sprint. He made a sharp turn around the corner of the school building escaping before the hero could catch up.
~Flashback over~
Izuku gasped, he felt the fire burn his skin. The agony sets in, and he cries silently. He collapsed to his knees. Screams deafened by the shortness of his own breath. Tears slide down his cheeks as his eyes widen. Paralyzed with shock. His gaze now fixated on the ceiling. His head roaring with painful screaming words from conflicting feelings and messed up memories.
He blinks.
The wounds are gone.
The dryness of his throat dissipated.
But he still drowns in the despair.
And the pain still remains.
Izuku looked in the mirror, watching as tears slid down his cheeks for the first time in 8 years. Today was his birthday. 15 years old.
He forced the tears to stop and wiped his cheeks. He pulled on his mask after clicking on the voice changer.
Izuku then climbed out the window, tightly wrapping the athletics tape around his fingers before leaping off the balcony rail.
